Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Telecom Software Engineer to implement and optimize Momenta’s telecom solution. This role will be responsible for delivering a robust telecom infrastructure capable of handling control plane and user plane signaling, media packet forking, and integration within IMS Core networks.

Key Expectations

📌 Implement and Own the Infrastructure 

You will deploy and maintain Momenta’s telecom element, ensuring seamless integration within existing IMS architectures. Your responsibility includes managing SIP and RTP traffic, ensuring media forking for real-time analysis, and maintaining high availability and scalability. This will require strong software implementation knowledge in C/C++.

📌 Ensure High Performance and Reliability

You’ll ensure the SBC meets strict real-time performance criteria, supporting low latency and high throughput for VoIP, VoLTE, and VoNR calls. You will proactively monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize configurations to maintain service quality.

📌 Drive Technical Integration

Coordinate with telecom operators, ensuring smooth interconnection with existing network components (MGCF, A-SBC, P-CSCF). Your expertise will facilitate seamless interactions and compatibility with diverse telecom environments.

📌 Establish Rigorous Testing Protocols 

Set up robust testing environments to simulate real-world conditions and validate SBC functionality across different call flows, network topologies, and security scenarios. Document results clearly to demonstrate reliability and compliance.

📌 Prepare and Manage Deployment 

You’ll oversee deployment in containerized environments, ensuring easy management, monitoring, and maintenance. Develop clear documentation and procedures for operations and technical support teams.

📌 Communicate and Collaborate Effectively 

Work closely with Momenta's CTO, developers, and external telecom stakeholders. Clear communication and problem-solving abilities are essential. You should confidently explain technical decisions, identify potential risks, and propose robust solutions proactively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

🎯 Technical Skills:

Protocols & Signaling: SIP, RTP, SDP, Diameter 

Telecom Architecture: IMS Core, SBC deployment, VoIP/VoLTE/VoNR

Programing Languages: C/C++

Tools & Technologies: Kamailio, RTPengine, Wireshark, tcpdump

Network & Security: Firewall configurations, encryption, secure signaling

DevOps & Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows

🎯 Preferred Experience:

Prior experience deploying and managing B2BUA solutions in telecom environments Familiarity with telecom standards and regulatory requirements Hands-on experience with media forking and deep packet inspection Understanding of real-time analytics integration

Compensation & Career Path:

Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Android Full-Stack Developer to help us bring our user-facing Android app to life. You’ll work closely with our design and engineering teams to build out our map-based UI and integrate key features that power voice scam detection and reporting.

Key Expectations

📌 End-to-End Android Client

• Take our existing codebase from prototype to production-grade
• Implement core features: secure login flows, background call listeners (VoIP/SIP), real-time UI feedback on fraud scores, and call history dashboards
• Optimize across devices for CPU, memory, battery, and low-latency audio processing
• Handle permissions, call audio capture, and background service behavior
• Launch and manage app distribution via Google Play

📌 Serverless Backend & API Development

• Design, build, and maintain AWS-based microservices using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
• Implement endpoints for audio streaming, ML model inference (via AWS SageMaker or custom endpoints), and event logging
• Define REST/WebSocket contracts and integrate with Twilio or SIP gateways for VoIP call control

📌 Performance, Security, and DevOps

• Ensure real-time responsiveness and scalable audio data processing
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Git and Gradle
• Build secure auth flows using OAuth/token-based authentication
• Apply best practices in encryption, permissions, and Android security architecture

📌 Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with our CTO and product team to align implementation with roadmap
• Provide clear technical insights, raise blockers, and proactively recommend solutions
• Document backend services and client workflows for maintainability

Required Skills & Qualifications

🎯 Android Expertise

• Kotlin & Java, Android Studio, Jetpack libraries (WorkManager, Room, LiveData)
• Material Design, custom views, background services, and VoIP call handling
• Experience launching Android apps on Google Play

🎯 Backend & DevOps Proficiency

• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3
• Node.js, Python, or similar backend experience
• REST and WebSocket API development
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, Gradle, Serverless Framework

🎯 VoIP & Audio Experience

• Familiarity with SIP/WebRTC, call audio capture, Twilio integrations
• Experience with background audio services and event-driven processing

🎯 Security & API Design

• OAuth/token-based auth
• Secure mobile data handling and encryption in transit
• Android permission model and security best practices
