Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and additional expertise in AWS, unit testing, REST API development, and ticketing tools. This role requires working closely with our US-based team and clients, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
• AWS Integration: Deploy and manage applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and more.
• Database Management: Work with MongoDB or DynamoDB for database design, development, and optimization.
• Unit Testing: Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure the robustness of the application.
• REST API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities.
• Ticketing Tools: Use ticketing tools like Jira for project management and tracking development tasks.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other issues in the application.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products.
• Client Communication: Engage with US-based clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in full-stack web development, specifically with the MERN stack.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and deployment.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Proficiency in designing and developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Location: Must be willing to work from the office in JP Nagar, Bangalore, within a 5 KM radius.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a US shift timing environment.
• Previous experience in a product-based company.
