The Business Development Executive plays a key role in the client acquisition process. Role offers growth and the ability to use technical and sales skill set. As a BDE, you will work closely with the marketing team to identify, prospect, and qualify opportunities from marketing generated leads and proactive outbound efforts targeting accounts to feed the sales pipeline. Responsibilities • Nurture, educate, and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities via phone and email. • Research accounts prior to first contact to understand the prospect’s needs and educate the prospect on the benefits of the platform. • Perform outbound cold-calling targeting companies that meet customer profile. • Ability to demo Engazify product. • Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects. • Work closely with marketing to support successful outbound campaigns. • Work closely with the CEO to identify and uncover opportunities at target accounts. • Responsible for meeting metrics and assigned goals. Requirements • 2+ years of lead qualification/business development experience with a technology company, in support of providing high-touch qualified leads to sales organization. • Experience in outbound cold-calling targeting multiple level contacts including executive management. • Excellent lead follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads from marketing generated campaigns and incoming phone and web inquiries. • Experience in prospecting, nurturing, educating and qualifying target prospects to create sales-ready opportunities. • Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skill. • Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate products highlighting benefits/advantages/features. • Self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence.
The ideal person will be a great communicator (written and verbal), can write awesome blogs, have good attention to detail, able to analyze data and provide recommendations, be an effective team player with good initiative, and most importantly be familiar with social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google +, & Quora). Desired Skills: • 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, with expertise in content writing, marketing, & content strategy. • Experience in managing company’s various Social Media Pages – facebook, linkedin, twitter, quora, & google plus. • Experience in setting up and running Google Adwords, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn Ads, and other PPC display Ads. • Experience in reaching out to the right audience and converting them into customers through interesting content. • You stay current with online marketing strategies and tactics - you know what channels to use, what targeting tactics to try, and what tools to use to increase signups. • You love words. You have a personal blog or write regularly on Quora. You can come up with interesting topics to engage with our user base. • You can measure the success of written content, and constantly improve your writing based on previous results. • You have good knowledge of SEO, inbound marketing, google analytics, & link building. • You are fluent in written & verbal English with good grammar. • Experience in identifying and connecting with industry 'influencers' as needed. Good to have: • Startup and enterprise software marketing experience. • Knowledgeable about SaaS product, B2B marketing, and freemium business models. • Experience in publishing web content. Experience using Wordpress is a major plus. • Experience in writing product video script & creating tutorial videos. • Experience in writing copy for deliverables such as testimonials, case histories, online product demos, videos, white papers, press release articles, blogs, & slideshare presentations. • Experience in Content Distribution including Email Marketing, Newsletters, Infographics, and Webinars. • Experience in developing brand story and voice.
