Job Title: SMO Executive
Job Summary:
The SMO Executive is responsible for developing and executing social media optimization strategies to enhance the brand’s online presence, increase audience engagement, and drive traffic to the company’s digital platforms. This role involves content creation, platform management, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy Development:
- Design and implement effective SMO strategies tailored to various social platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Create engaging content (text, images, video) that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Plan and schedule posts using social media management tools to ensure timely and consistent communication.
- Community Engagement:
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Foster and maintain active relationships with the online community and influencers.
- Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Launch, manage, and optimize social media campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to integrate SMO efforts with overall marketing strategies.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.
- Prepare regular reports with insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Brand Monitoring:
- Ensure all social media content maintains brand consistency and complies with industry guidelines.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and optimization.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and content quality.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with paid social media advertising.
- Knowledge of SEO and its interplay with SMO.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
