Job Description:
We are looking for a QA Lead who will be owning the overall quality and reliability of our products. As a leader, you will mentor and build a team of QA engineers, acquiring in-depth knowledge of our products, establishing best practices/processes, and value automation over manual testing. If you enjoy building impactful products from scratch and influencing product direction, the role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
● Own overall quality of our products
● Automate all aspects of QA
● Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple products
● Establish and maintain QA processes, champion continuous testing/automation
● Mentor a team of QA engineers
● Troubleshoot production defects and performance issues

📃Requirements
● 6+ years of proven experience in software testing

What does the role look like?

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, and technically-savvy Quality Assurance Lead Should be an excellent team manager as well as individual contributor capable of understanding and driving test execution with minimal help. Who can work towards understanding application performance, functionality, and features to great depth enabling them to report issues, take ownership and drive them to closure.

What will you be doing?
 Develop and execute automated tests and test plans
 Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of the products(API and App)  Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
 Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
 Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
 Work with Engineering and product to understand the overall product requirements and technical architecture and how each feature is implemented  Ensure the highest quality product delivery with security.
 Evaluating and integrate open source and in house developed toolsets

What will you need ?
 Bachelor/Master degree in CS or related field from a reputed college
 Experience in manual testing for Application and APIs
 Experience in automation testing using available framework.
 Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing frameworks and tools
 Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test execution and reporting.
 Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical partners.
 Understanding & experience with software design pattern, restful APIs and microservice architecture
 Prior experience in start-ups or health-tech will be a plus

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Python coding & scripting. Good programming knowledge along with Data structures / OOPS in Python, Minimum 6 months-1 year of proficient experience in any automation tool like Selenium*(preferably). Experience in writing selenium-based automation frameworks and scripts. Experience in writing & Re-writing python codes/scripts in Development environment. Experience in maintaining REST API based automation frameworks and scripts Proficiency in API Testing using Python as a programming language. Strong Funtional understanding of STLC process (test case planning & writing, feature ownership, automation reporting and triage, bug reporting, regression & isolation) Experience with Selenium Webdriver, test framework development, and web application testing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
● Contribute to quality processes and improvements within the Software Platform Team
● Collaborate with developers and QA engineers on geographically-diverse teams to ensure the
quality implementation of application features, E2E
● Ensure proper test coverage and testability within development sprints
● Participate in QA sprint planning within the Software Platform Team
● Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation tests and frameworks
● Escalate defect reports and critical issues
● Work closely with the technical project managers to prioritize defect resolution

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
● BS in Computer Science or equivalent
● Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably at an enterprise SaaS
organization, with working experience as a software development engineer in test (SDET)
● Minimum of 2 years of experience testing the Data Layer specifically
● Strong knowledge of a full tech stack and strong debugging skills
● Experience in REST API testing, both automated and manual
● Experience with testing SOA and microservices applications
● Experience in writing scripts or programs to analyze/validate large data sets
● Proficient in QA methodology and process (Agile testing experience preferred)
● Proficient in SQL: query, inserts and updates
● Experience with testing ETLs
● Strong communication skills: must be able communicate with other functional teams to coordinate
systems integration testing requirements
● Ability to convert complex business, technical requirements, use cases, and user stories to test
cases and test plans
● Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as Jira

PLUSES:
● Personal or professional experience with Robo-Advising/FinTech Products is highly desired
● Specific QA experience in a startup environment culture
● Experience with queuing/messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
● Experience with time series or document databases
● Experience in performance engineering/testing of scalable systems

UI Path Developer:

• Design, code, test automation workflows using UiPath
• Should completed E/B.Tech. /MCA in any field.

• Should have interest in salesforce development technology.
• Strong technical skills on UiPath, and end to end UiPath offerings
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in developing, implementing automation workflows in UiPath.
• Excellent communication skill is a must.
• Knowledge and experience on RPA Ui path Tool.
• Basic programming/Scripting knowledge on VBA/VB/java/C# script is must (or any scripting language, python is a plus)
• Knowledge in cognitive automation with OCR tools, AI/ML skills is a plus.
• Excellent software development background with any of the following (C#, C++, Java, .NET) is a plus

      

Technical Requirements:
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Backend REST API testing.
• Hands on programming experience in Java.
• Experience in designing, developing, debugging and executing automation scripts
• Experience in REST API Automation using RestAssured/Karate/Jersey Client/HTTP-Client
• Experience in CI-CD tools like Jenkins is plus
• Hands on experience in MySQL.
• Hands on experience in Linux/Unix commands is a plus
• Experience in performance testing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Estimate, Priorities, plan, and coordinate testing
