iOS Developer - SWIFT/REST API

About The Role

CapitalNow is seeking an Android Developer with notable experience in Java and Kotlin development. The technical team is responsible for developing the supported mobile application and web app for customers and a control panel for the marketing team involved in CapitalNow. You will be responsible for delivering best in a class mobile experience, engineering-complex, secure & high-quality native Android mobile apps for our product.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate efficiently across cross-functional teams such as product managers, UX-/UI-designers, and other software engineers
• Design, build and maintain high-performance reusable, and reliable code
• Continually improve and innovate software development, deployment and testing to ensure high-quality, on-time releases. Conduct and participate in code-reviews
• Provide UAT support & needed assistance for release management activities
• Serve as a leader for team members to learn from regarding mobile technologies, development, and delivery processes

Essential Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Android Kotlin/Java development
• Excellent understanding of Objective Oriented design patterns, Android fundamentals, and Android SDK (versions 5.0 and up)
• ○  Experience with offline persistence, threading, memory management, and performance tuning
• ○ Data structure optimizations, security, IPC, App Modularization
• ○ 3+yrs of Experience in integrating third-party SDKs like Facebook, Gmail/Google, and Payment gateways like CCAvenue, PayU, Razorpay, etc
• ○ Including Android Architecture Components, Navigation Framework, Android Jetpack, Android NDK, View components, JSON, and more
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Published at least two original Android apps
• Knowledge of Google Playstore Policies and experience in handling all types of permissions in Playstore
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

• Having experience working in the Financial Services domain (good if it's in capital markets) is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Unit Testing
• Hands-on experience as a Senior Android developer is a plus
• Having experience in writing complex queries using MySQL is an added advantage
• Immediate joiner is most preferable 

• Solution design documentation, development ownership, mentoring and driving the most comprehensive trade terminal for our super users for the iOS Mobile platform
• Ensuring the team adhere to the best industry technical practices and meet the business objective

• B.E., B.Tech., M.C.A. or equivalent technical qualification in Computer Science,
• Engineering or a related subject
• 7 to 10 years of proven software development experience in iOS development
• Experience in mentoring iOS developers
• Must experience with Swift
• Experience with Objective-C is a plus
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON must
• Experience with API integration, Third-party SDKs, Charts, Payment Gateway, Sockets is a plus
• Experience in HLD, LLD designing must
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Mobile Application security standards is a plus
• Experience in mobile app architecture, frameworks, design patterns must
• Experience in writing Unit Test cases is a plus
• Experience in performance measurement of application is plus
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

• Experience in Firebase Crashlytics, Application Performance must

• Bachelors/ Masters degree in computer science, Engineering or a related subject
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in mobile application development
• Proficiency in Problem Solving, Data Structures, and Algorithms
• Strong knowledge of design concepts and constraints on mobile platforms
• Proficiency in Java/ Android/ Excellent in Kotlin & Flutter language
• Demonstrable experience building excellent mobile apps that are currently in Google PlayStore
• MVP/ MVVM architecture
• Firebase services
• Local databases (SQLite, firebase DB)/ORM (Green DAO, Room)
• Experience with a scalable architecture, while maintaining a hands-on role with code development
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks

Requirements:

• Engineers with 1-6 years of experience in shipping consumer-facing Android apps with the large user base, ideally currently available on the Google Play Store

• Top-notch programming skills in Java, Kotlin and Android along with MVVM, Dagger2, Room, LiveData, Coroutine & JetPack-Components

• Command of memory management, view hierarchy, battery optimisation and in-depth experience with multi threaded and networked applications

• Worked with Restful APIs, third-party SDK Integrations and common technologies like HTTPS, JSON, OAuth, and SQL

• Thorough working knowledge of Android Studio with the Gradle build system
• Understanding the quirks of the fragmented ecosystem of Android OS versions and devices
• Focus on Material Design principles and pixel-perfect implementation of the design into code
• Solid experience with Git Care for quality with an obsession for performance and willingness to spend time testing the team's work as well as yours
