Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features, optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs,

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-10 years experience on UI design, creative flair
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS , KnockoutJS, BackboneJS etc.,
• Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX and Restful API calls
• Proficient understanding of Bootstrap and web markup, including HTML5, CSS3. Server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Basic understanding of image authoring tools such as Gimp, PhotoShop etc
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN

The developer will be responsible to build and enhance collaboration functionalities in our products while ensuring seamless user interaction in the platform. Our engineering team works on developing a range of innovative products to facilitate regulatory work flow of medical device companies. An ideal candidate is one willing to work in a tight schedule of a start-up and experienced in building magical user experiences and considers performance to be the key metric in the application.

Responsibilities :

• Develop new features using Angular 9/10
• Develop reusable components
• Write efficient and documented object oriented code
• Write extensive unit test cases and execute them
• Ensure responsive design of the front end

Skills and Qualifications :

• 2-5 years experience in developing web based applications and building product product from scratch

• Detailed understanding of coding and design aspects of Angular 9/10

• Proficiency with Observables, NGRX and websockets

• Knowledge of various Angular/Jquery packages

• Knowledge of Responsive Design

• Knowledge of WYSIWYG editors

• Knowledge of different performance optimization techniques

• Experienced in various data structures and design patterns

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent education.

• Strong MVCC frontend development experience in Angular, React, Vue, Angularjs, REDUX, or similar frameworks
• Strong foundation skills in HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, SCSS, Javascript, OO Javascript (OOJS), and JQuery 
• Responsive design techniques, highly proficient with strong security and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience building reusable components using modern techniques
• Experience building PWA and Hybrid applications using Ionic, React Native, etc. is a plus
• If you don’t have experience with MVCC frameworks like Angular, we will still consider if your fundamental skills (HTML, CSS, JS) are strong

Required Candidate profile

• Build fluid, scalable, responsive, and consumer-centric web platforms that target users across a wide array of devices
• Collaborate closely with designers & backend developers and contribute to the full product development life-cycle from design and development to roll out
  Take ownership of work and deliver quality results consistently
• Own the delivery of multiple features in a fast-paced work environment
• Build optimized and modular components to provide performance-oriented solutions
• Work in a dynamic and collaborative culture ensuring good teamwork and communication with remote team members when needed

• 4+ Years of experience in frontend web development (1+ in ReactJS)
• Strong past experience of building, scaling and maintaining feature-rich customer-facing single-page applications
• Ability to translate designs into UI elements with accuracy and an eye for fluidity and responsiveness; strong grasp of any of CSS / sass / less
• Proven ability to implement key concepts of state management, security, and caching practices in enterprise-level web applications used at scale
• Proficient understanding of compatibility issues across different browsers and web and mobile devices and available ways to work around them
• Familiarity with the react ecosystem and popular libraries in that ecosystem
• Strong grasp over core web development concepts like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, general Web 2.0 techniques, and working without modern component libraries
• Experience with designing secure web applications with a strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and best practices
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming
• Strong grasp over concepts of performance, optimization, lighthouse, etc
• Strong handle over Git, following best practices to facilitate collaboration

• Hands-on experience with supporting payments and integrating payment gateways
• Experience with progressive web apps, service workers
• Strong grasp over frontend unit and end-to-end testing frameworks

We are looking for a seasoned frontend developer to join our product team. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectation into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimized both in technology and in delivering best user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with design, product management and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert or frontend engineer
• Experience in Frontend Technologies 
  • Typescript - the right way. Ie, not using it exactly like Javascript, instead using it in the way it was intended to be used.
  • React
  • GraphQL (Relay Specification is a plus)
  • Apollo Client for React OR React-Relay
• Worked in large React Projects preferably in TypeScript, with proper usage of Typing.
  • Familar with React Contexts and Hooks
  • Should have a very good understanding, and practical knowledge in Advanced Guides in React (https://reactjs.org/docs/forwarding-refs.html" target="_blank">https://reactjs.org/docs/forwarding-refs.html) 
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap and the CSS GRID system
• Experience with a GraphQL backend using either Apollo Client for React or React Relay is a plus
• Experience using any one React UI Framework: Ant UI, Elastic UI, Material Framework for React, Blueprint UI or Bootstrap for React

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as a front-end developer
• Experienced in developing applications using JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Redux Saga, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3/CSS4 and other UI technologies.
• Understanding and experience with ES6 concepts, asynchronous processing, partial page refresh, DOM traversal and manipulation.
• Experience with REST API construction, documentation, and architecture, including API description languages like Swagger.
• Comfortable writing Unit Test Cases (Enzyme/ Jest)
• Familiar with cloud services: AWS, Dev-ops such as Git, Jira, Confluence

Add-Ons/Interview Process

• You should be comfortable working in a Start-up for in-house product development.
• Will not be engaged with any Client, but with the internal team (in India & the US).
