Job Description:

We are looking for a confident, persuasive, and self-driven Business Development Executive to lead sales in the school segment across the North, West, and Central regions.

The role involves identifying new schools, building strong relationships with management, and driving sales for our innovative educational products.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities with schools, school groups, and educational institutions.

Conduct meetings and product presentations with school principals and management.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key school decision-makers.

Drive regional sales growth and achieve assigned revenue targets.

Follow up on leads, proposals, negotiations, and closures.

Maintain detailed data of prospects and sales activities in CRM & Google Sheets.

Coordinate with internal teams for product demonstrations, dispatch, and after-sales support.

Represent the company at educational exhibitions, school visits, and regional marketing events.

Agile & Scrum Leadership (60%)

• Act as Scrum Master: Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Backlog Management: Partner closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to groom and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and "ready for development."
• Impediment Removal: Proactively identify, track, and remove blockers or impediments that hinder the development team's progress.
• Agile Coaching: Champion Agile and Scrum best practices, mentoring the team on continuous improvement and self-organization.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and communicate key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down/burn-up charts, cycle time) to provide transparency on project progress and team health.

Technical Project Management (40%)

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Technical Liaison: Serve as the bridge between the development team, product management, and other business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, understandable terms.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and cross-team dependencies. Work with engineering leads and architects to ensure solution integrity.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
• Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

Requirements for the Role

• 5+ years experience with manual and automation testing
• Experience with QA methodologies for large scale web and mobile applications, understanding of software development process
• Experience with mobile,(android and iOS) web and API automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium and Postman
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment and with geographically distributed teams
• Experience working with SCM tools like Git
• Experience in implementing CI/CD regression pipelines
