UI Developer

About the Role

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll be working on building responsive and interactive user interfaces that delight customers. You’ll translate design concepts into clean, efficient code and collaborate with backend developers and designers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop modern, responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with libraries/frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed & scalability.
• Collaborate with designers to bring ideas into functional UI.

Must-Have Skills (for candidates with ~1 year experience)

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience in React.js/Angular/Vue.
• Ability to consume REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Version control (Git) and basic CI/CD exposure.
• Familiarity with responsive design and browser debugging tools.

Work Mode & Schedule

Remote, 10 AM – 7 PM, Mon–Sat (own PC + reliable internet + availability on Zoom/Meet/Teams).

Compensation Note

Compensation will be discussed after evaluation and will reflect the candidate’s demonstrated skills and value in a startup ecosystem.

• Work with design and marketing team to improve website conversion rate for different sign up processes
• Work with the marketing team to improve main website KPIs - New users, average time on page, session duration are the main ones
• Write automation scripts to help automate redundant manual processes of other marketing functions– SEO, Outbound, Content, Product Marketing
• Work on our Shopify demo store to showcase new product releases and features. This is pretty interesting as you’ll get to play around with Shopify backend (the most popular eCommerce platform in the world)
• Work on building integrations and workflows between different marketing automation platforms. Our current marketing tech stack involves Salesforce, HubSpot, Reply, Similarweb and more.
• Web scraping for new growth initiatives

1.       Strong knowledge in Front end scripting like EJS, JavaScript, Jquery

2.       Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS.

3.       Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.

4.       Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python / Ruby / Java / PHP/ .Net

5.       Good Understand with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

Toplyne is a global SaaS product built to help revenue teams, at businesses with a self-service motion, and a large user-base, identify which users to spend time on, when and for what outcome. Think self-service or freemium-led companies like Figma, Notion, Freshworks, and Slack. We do this by helping companies recognize signals across their - product engagement, sales, billing, and marketing data.

You taking a lot of pride in writing scalable, readable & maintainable code. You have a product bent of mind. You like working in a fast paced environment and ship code most days of the week. You enjoy working cross functionally in a collaborative environment with designers, PM's to build the best product possible. You don't mind getting on customer calls to understand their perspective to build a better product or help them with issues they might be facing.

You're hungry, ready to hustle, and keen to learn!

As a founding member of the core engineering team, you will:

• Work with the founders in co-creating the product with early believers (read: customers)
• Develop massive, complex software systems that scale globally.
• Build and own a substantial part of the product and help build the culture of engineering within Toplyne

• Strong first principles
• Hustle! We're young, lean, and in our early days. You'd have to set up your own shop, work with design customers to find generalisable use cases, and build them out.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and ship new features
• 2-6 years of experience
• Good understanding and experience working with javascript frameworks such as React.
• Work closely with developers and UX designers to ensure that the presentation layer is implemented in accordance with best above best practices and UX specifications.

• Not looking for a 10x engineer. We are ok if you are 1x but are really good at what you, a good human being & work well in a team.
