TAPPP is building the next-generation digital platform by leveraging cell-based architecture to integrate technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Rules, Workflows, Microservices, FaaS (Function as a Service), Micro-frontends, and Micro apps to create a highly extensible and cutting-edge technology platform that brings together sports fans with broadcasters, sports teams, and sportsbooks to create a marketplace for all aspects of sports and we are available across platforms via the Web, Mobile, Roku, and Tablets.

Building out this brand presents significant product and engineering challenges. At the center of solving those challenges is the TAPPP Product Engineering team which is responsible for the TAPPP product end to end.

TAPPP is led by a very able leadership team drawn from Industry leaders from companies like ESPN, Amazon, Blackhawk, Kargocard, Visa, and many others.

Who are we looking for:

A coding enthusiast who loves writing elegant code and developing software systems.

As a Roku developer, you will be a part of the core product development team that is responsible for building high-performant components of the TAPPP platform.

Your responsibility:

• You will be responsible for designing, coding, reviewing, testing, and bug-fixing different modules of the software product that needs to work seamlessly across different environments.
• Write production-quality code in Brightscript / Scenegraph.
• Write unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• You will work in an Agile team, working on the TAPPP revolutionary platform. 
• Interface with other teams and/or third-party vendors to assist in the deployment of applications on Roku platforms.

Mandatory technical skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in developing apps for Roku devices.
• Strong knowledge of BrightScript, SceneGraph, and core scripting languages like JS.
• Experience with REST APIs interaction and a strong understanding of client-server architectures.
• Experience with Media Playback, streaming concepts, HLS, and manifests.

The position is based in Pune(India).

The developer will be responsible to build and enhance collaboration functionalities in our products while ensuring seamless user interaction in the platform. Our engineering team works on developing a range of innovative products to facilitate regulatory work flow of medical device companies. An ideal candidate is one willing to work in a tight schedule of a start-up and experienced in building magical user experiences and considers performance to be the key metric in the application.

Responsibilities :

• Develop new features using Angular 9/10
• Develop reusable components
• Write efficient and documented object oriented code
• Write extensive unit test cases and execute them
• Ensure responsive design of the front end

Skills and Qualifications :

• 2-5 years experience in developing web based applications and building product product from scratch

• Detailed understanding of coding and design aspects of Angular 9/10

• Proficiency with Observables, NGRX and websockets

• Knowledge of various Angular/Jquery packages

• Knowledge of Responsive Design

• Knowledge of WYSIWYG editors

• Knowledge of different performance optimization techniques

• Experienced in various data structures and design patterns

Skills:

• Expertise in Laravel and a good understanding of other core PHP frameworks using REST APIs.

• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Extensive experience in designing and maintaining databases such as MySQL.
• Mastery of CMS such as WordPress and Magento is an advantage.

• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Optimizing client and server-side code for maximum speed.

• In this Senior Front End Engineer position, you will:
• Inherit a well-architected, clean and robust codebase built with TypeScript, Angular, and SCSS/SASS with a modern interface
• Work with our design team and other engineers to make sure our application is performant and intuitive to use
• Evaluate and implement new libraries and components
• Ensure best practices are followed in the design and development of the application
• Contribute to and help manage our open source libraries

• Develop web-based application for analytics using Angular
• Integrate and extend Python REST APIs and create visually stunning UI experiences for analysts and users.
• Create flexible dashboards and reports (using plotly, d3, etc) and  leverage open source technology to create various components.
• Create a flexible UI for data analytics and big data usecases which can be used by Large Tier banks as well as smallscale agile startups
• Write unit tests and functional tests for the component using tools like Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, etc.
• Follow software development practices with continuous testing, development and integration (CD/CI)
• Write and maintain technical design documents and new-feature documents
• Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, testers, and product managers
• Participate in peer-based code reviews and design reviews
• Follow agile methodology and encourage collaboration with tools such as GIT, Confluence and Slack applications
• Undergraduate degree or above in computer science preferred

Required Qualifications

• Knows SPA and frontend technologies well
• Has used atleast 1 web framework: Angular / React / Vue / etc. and comfortable with Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience with styling (CSS / SCSS / others) frameworks like bootstrap, material, foundation, tailwind, etc. is a plus
• Knowledge on visualization frameworks like D3, plotly, highcharts, chart.js, etc. to make customizable dashboards.
• Has used testing libraries like karma, jest, jasmine, cypress, selenium, etc.
• Familiar with with frontend processes like State management (Redux), Reactive programming (rxjs), Authentication methods (JWT, SAML) etc. 
• Basic knowledge about APIs (flask, django, nodejs) and worked on deploying web applications (nginx or apache or cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, docker, etc.) will be beneficial.
