Android Developer Description

We’re looking for Android Mobile Application Developer who has solid knowledge of Android application’s life cycle, specially in modern mobile application. We need someone to build the native applications for Android using Java & Kotlin on Android Studio. You’ll need to create applications from scratch or configure the existing applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement applications from initial concept, app architecture, and user interface to finished deliverable.
Implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing applications.
Good knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen.
Create and update re-usable code libraries to streamline app development cycle.
Contribute to all phases of the product development: design, develop, test, maintain and improvise.
BASIC SKILLS:

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of current Android development languages (Java & Kotlin).
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and changing technologies.
Self confident and enthusiastic.
Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Contractual / Temporary, Internship

Salary: ₹11,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

• Design and develop mobile applications in true service oriented architecture.
• Building mobile applications on Android platform using Java, Kotlin, etc
• Worked on major architectures like MVVM, MVP

Responsibilities:

• Write high quality code & unit tests, builds, tests as per agreed timelines.
• Follows and promotes SDLC best practices: Coding standard, testing, code reviews, code comments etc.
• Keeps key stakeholders informed about progress and problems; avoids surprises.
• Organises and expresses ideas clearly and concisely.
• Exhibits excellent teamwork and helps achieve team goals.

Requirements:

• Exhibits strong problem solving skills.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and excellent problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Solid programming skills in Java/Kotlin.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience in Reactive programming, Asynchronous programming and Unit Testing will be an added advantage.
• 0-3 years of experience in product driven organisation.
• A Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering from a reputed institute (preferably IITs, NITs, or other top engineering institutes)

• The main roles and responsibilities would be:
• Deliver high quality mobile apps on Android platforms.

• Minimum experience of 1 years needed. Ideally more than 2 years.

• Strong OO design and programming skills in Java

• Working Experience on MMVM and MVP architecture
