What can fetch you brownie points?

• Hands  on experience with React Native is required
• Hands-on experience in React Native APIs, ReactJS, Javascript, ECMAScript (OOJS) and JSX.
• Strong understanding of Java Script ecosystem
• Hands  on experience on Android in creating Hybrid / Native applications
• Demonstrable UI/UX experience on a large-scale app.
• Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual
• Good knowledge of JS frameworks like ReactJS is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• You will join development on a mobile SDK, in use by tens of thousands of users around Pan India.
• You will join the weekly team meetings with the client and communicate progress to the client, as well as work closely with our development team in Slack/Gmeet.
• You will be responsible for development, do a portion of the testing, and be responsible for the release of the application

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a developer, you are responsible for delivering valuable software to your clients while adhering to technical standards, company values, and industry best practices. Your success in this position will require you to set and meet appropriate expectations with customers and delight customers by anticipating their needs. You will be accountable for meeting commitments and producing quality, tested software. High output, driven developer, able to work in a team setting.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• You have ability to write and test SDKs for use by other developers

WE CONSIDER IT A PLUS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Significant UI experience (one of the primary SDKs is UI-related – so although you will not be developing a user interface for the application, knowledge on UI is important)
• Significant push notification experience (one of the primary SDKs is push-notification related)

• Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.
• Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
• Working as a part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products.
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 1-3 year experience, ideally within a Software Engineer role with some inhand experience with Flutter or dart.

• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.

Job description:

• Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience in React Js, Javascript, Ruby on Rails (preferred)- Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6 & ES5 )- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Working knowledge of git for version control- Understanding of Unix tools

We are looking for a Sr. React Native Developer to help design and develop a new mobile application.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Developing high-quality JavaScript code for the application.
2. Working closely with design and technology teams to gather requirements and formulate solutions.
3. Coordinating with back-end team to establish JSON-based APIs.
4. Deploying and managing application on Google Play Store & App Store.
5. Optimizing application for maximum speed, performance, and compatibility.
6. Making recommendations to address UI/UX issues.
7. Providing assistance to QA to ensure the app is properly tested and QAd.

Desired Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
2. Strong experience working with React Native on production apps, with knowledge of existing standards and best practices.
3. Strong experience in JavaScript, and Redux.
4. Experience with version control tools (GIT).
5. Experience with responsive design/implementation.
6. Familiarity with REST APIs.
7. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Web pack, NPM, etc.

Bonus

Knowledge in any or all of any or all of Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin is a big plus.
