Despite all the digital transformations everywhere, proptech for residential property resale and purchase, has been limited to classifieds (DIYs) so far. All retail & services industries across India and the globe witnessed the shift from DIY startups to more fundamental DFY unicorns - eg. Justdial to Flipkart, OLX to Spinny. Except Property buying. With the technology and the capability to execute millions of property inspections across geographies at the same time, by deploying a white-collar gig-workforce, Settlin is the first and only end-to-end

 platform for resale and purchase of residential Real Estate.

What is your role?

Engineers at Settlin are expected to be strong problem solvers with a deep understanding of how to make software modular. If you’ve ever built a complete application/module all by yourself, that’s a major plus. understand the software architecture.train and coach other engineers on the team

What should you have mandatorily?

● At least 1 years of Relevant Work Experience in React, MongoDB and Javascript with state

 management tools like Redux.

● Good Analytical Skills and Problem-Solving Ability

● A Deep Hunger to Learn and Create Technology

● A good sense of design, empathy, and good communication skills

What will help you boost up your application?

● React Material UI Framework: Material UI

● Backend: Node.js, Meteor.js framework

● DevOps: AWS, CI/CD, Docker

● Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests, benchmarking and optimization

● An experience of building end-to-end modules/applications

Roles and Responsibilities 

1) Understand client requirements and functionalities. 

2) Write well-designed, testable, efficient code. 

3) Responsible for solving complex technical issues. 

4) Ensure quality projects are delivered within defined timelines. 

5) Active involvement in client communication to understand functional requirements. 

6) Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation and other deliverables. 

Required Skills 

1) Good experience in Angular/React

2) Hand on Node.JS./Express JS 

3) Database : MongoDB 

4) Experience in Java Script, Typescript. 

5) Experience working in an Agile environment. 

6) Good communication skills.

You will be responsible for architecting and developing features on the application end to end. You will work closely with the Product Managers and the Technical architect to develop high-quality, resilient, and highly performant applications.

• Design and develop SaaS-based applications based on microservices architecture.
• Work on the core backend and ensure it meets the performance benchmarks.
• Work on the front end with ReactJS.
• Designing and developing APIs for the front end to consume.
• Constantly improve the architecture of the application by clearing the technical backlog.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

• Education - BE/MCA or equivalent.
• Overall 4+ years of experience.
• Agnostic/Polyglot with multiple tech stacks.
• Worked on open source technologies – NodeJS, ReactJS, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
• Good experience with Front-end technologies like JavaScript frameworks, ReactJS, and AngularJS.
• Backend exposure – good knowledge of building API.
• Worked on serverless technologies.
• Efficient in building microservices in combining server & front-end.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Should have sound working experience with relational and columnar DB.
• Should be innovative and communicative in approach.
• Will be responsible for functional/technical track of a project.

Looking for someone who can take care of all the server-related works, their security, can handle code versions through GitHub, handle the server logs, loads with automated tools.

Hassle-free deploying the code on servers with automated scripts. Should have provision to manage the server downtime efficiently during deployment time on production environment.  Only privileged candidates can access the code and servers with a restricted IP address.

1. Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of cross-functional contact and expertise, providing support to development and QA teams for the build and release process in all environments.
• Provide emergency support for critical issues, research possible cause, and provide solutions.
• Aid DevOps team in the maintenance of existing automated deployment operations as well as the advancement of desired state automated CI-CD Pipelines
• Documents build and deployment process for assigned product and/or tools
• Aid Infrastructure team in the implementation of new resources used by the development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain awareness of best-in-class tools, languages, and practices related to development operations.
• Provides instructions to Infrastructure, Development and Test teams to aid in product development life cycle.

• Participate in discussions regarding new product development and product enhancements.
• 2. Requirements

• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, MongoDB
• Excellent troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Great Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Must have implementation experience with TLS/SSL, public private key cryptography, how certificates work, and mutual authentication
• Should have deal with IP addressing, firewalls, open ports, DNS & DHCP

• Experience in software / web application architecture, estimates, design and development experience
• Knowledge of formal methods and techniques in software development
• Experience / Knowledge in the following technologies/languages/libraries/frameworks:
  • Primary Experience in C#, NodeJS and React JS.
  • Add on experience in HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JSON, API, Angular JS, AWS / Azure.
  • Experience with Version Control Software (GIT)
