What does the role look like?
Software Development Engineers will be responsible to participate in all stages of
the software product development life cycle. This will include analyzing system
and user requirements, designing software flowcharts, writing clean Java code,
troubleshooting bugs, and running tests to improve system functionality.
An ideal candidate would be someone who has proficiency in Java technologies,
good analytical skills, the ability to anticipate issues and frame remedial actions,
and excellent teamwork skills.

and goals.

What will you need ?
● Bachelor/Master degree in CS or related field from a reputed college
● Sound knowledge of Java technologies.
● Solid grip on the programming basics like DS and algorithms, OOPS.
● Understanding & experience with software design pattern, restful APIs and
microservice architecture
● Experience with software design and application programming.
● Prior experience in start-ups or health-tech will be a plus

- 2+ years of experience developing web application, Backend, API and big data-based applications/software

- Experience with one of the major relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra, Dynamo DB or such)

- Expert object-oriented programming experience using Java

- Experience with Frontend technologies (React.js, Angular, JavaScript or Ruby-on-Rails)

- Experience in messaging protocol like MQTT and messaging middleware like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ and/or Kafka

- Require experience and Strong understanding of entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum), Software design/architecture process, CI/CD processes, unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)

- Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST, MQTT, Web Sockets

- Experience with containerized environment Dockers, Rocket and Container orchestrator such as Kubernetes, Docker Swam, etc

- Experience managing Cloud infrastructure (resources and service) in AWS, Azure and/or GCP

- Strong knowledge of SOA, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded application development

- Experience in reporting and analytics, queuing and real-time streaming systems

- Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web or mobile applications

- Git or similar distributed SCM tools experience

- Experience with open-source technologies (if no practical work experience w/ Big Data, or cutting-edge frontend technology, prototyping and/or researching the up and coming technology and solutions)

- Experience in Docker & Kubernetes.

- Design, QA, and Infrastructure.

- Knowledge of design patterns and cloud scaling.

- AWS & GCP experience. AWS is mandatory.

- Understands BDD/TDD/Performance/Security/Smoke testing/Unit Testing

- Understands REST principles and Microservices

- Understands version control & branching strategies

- Understands application security fundamentals and potential security risks

Purpose of the Position
 Perform day-to-day support activity at the client side.
 Monitoring all the application components as part of the daily monitoring process to make sure the components and services are functional.
 Regularly monitor the logs of the components and services and identify and debug the
errors if any and accordingly co-ordinate with the off-shore team if needed.
 Support off-shore team to help deploy their application components and services.
 Perform basis debugging activity to identify any issue present in the client environment and provide the details to the off-shore team.
