Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Coordinate closely with the CEO and product leadership to align on goals and drive the vision forward.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to design, build, and refine core product features that serve a global audience.
• Stay hands-on with coding and architecture, driving key services and technical initiatives from end to end.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems to ensure smooth product operations.
• Requirements & Technical Skills
• Bachelor's/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (B.Tech, M.Tech, B.CA, B.E./M.E).
• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a software developer, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Proven track record in developing scalable, distributed systems and services.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong programming experience in Spring & Hibernate with Kotlin, React, Nest.js, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Expertise in Unix-based systems, container technologies, and virtual machines.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB). Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience working on both structured and unstructured data sources. Soft Skills
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities to inspire and guide a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a collaborative, agile team to deliver industry-leading engagement capabilities in web.
• Integrate with other services to help Elevate seamlessly provide value to more companies
• Design and develop feature enhancements that continue to deliver on the value and provide an excellent customer experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergency server or code issues at any stack level
• Ability to empathize with end-users; build with scale and ease of adoption in mind
• Experience building in an agile setting with code reviews and quality as a priority
• Strong design skills for separation and modularity of code; aversion to overly complex, spaghetti code

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or commensurate experience
• 1+ years experience in production web application development
• 1+ years of experience working with NodeJS or an equivalent web framework and language
• Experience writing JavaScript code, either vanilla JS or using a framework such as Node.js or React, Redux
• Unit testing experience (Jest)
• 3rd party API usage and integration experience
• RDBMS usage (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• AWS

• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.

Qualifications for Ruby

Time Zone EST Overlap of 3-4 hours/day

• Proficient in Ruby, and one of the Javascript UI frameworks like React, Ember, Angular, etc.
• Experience working with MySQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Experience in UI frameworks like React, Ember, Angular, etc.
• Experience building and deploying applications in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem. 
• 5+ years of software engineering experience developing scalable production software incorporating testing, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Full-stack development experience
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and code organization best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Built systems that make use of complex job queues and offline processing
• Experience with Docker/ECS/AWS
• Experience with testing and writing test cases
• Experience with Jest, Enzyme, and RSpec

Job Description
