Web Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Web Developer to join our product development team. As a Senior React Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications using ReactJS and Material UI. You will work closely with other developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to create high-quality, user-friendly, and scalable software.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and develop high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using ReactJS and Material UI.

● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the project meets the business requirements and user needs.

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

● Optimize the application for maximum speed, scalability, and usability.

● Develop reusable UI components and libraries.

● Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

● Identify and troubleshoot bugs and issues.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in ReactJS, Material UI, and front-end development.

● Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.

● Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

● At least 7 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 4 years of experience in ReactJS and Material UI.

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and related web technologies.

● Experience with Redux, Redux Saga, and other state management libraries.

● Experience with building scalable and complex web applications.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Experience with Agile development methodologies.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills.

● Experience with Git and version control.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

● Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client.

● Experience with server-side rendering using Next.js.

● Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.

● Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or Detox.

● Experience with UX/UI design and prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with design, product, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Review and Optimize application usage, by monitoring key metrics, for maximum speed and scalability
• Mentoring and guiding the team members.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, Angular Developer or front-end engineer.
• Sound knowledge in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
• Proficient with Typescript (Angular 2 & above)
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Passionate to create good design and usability
• A team player with excellent communication skills

• 4+ years experience working as a react.js developer.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good project management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• At least 5-10 years' experience working as a React.js Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages. Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Web pack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux, Vuejs, Angular++, Python and latest technology skills.
• Experience with user interface design. Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Good project management skills.

• Very Strong communication and consulting skills
• Strong front-end development skills, experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks mainly Angular JS Preferably Version 7 or Version 5
• Experience working with server-side JavaScript Frameworks and build tools (node.js, bower, grunt, gulp)
• Demonstrable experience developing large-scale applications using one or more MV* patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP)
• Expertise in developing single page web applications using front-end routing, consuming JSON-based RESTful APIs, client-side templating
• Strong competency in responsive layouts leveraging CSS and media queries and related UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS)
• Experience with code analysis tools (e.g., JSLint, JSPerf)
• Practical knowledge of web page optimization techniques and guidelines for fast page load times
• Strong understanding of Ajax and/or promises
• Experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with a distributed version control system (git, mercurial)
• Experience writing unit tests in one or more of the following: karma, mocha, chai, sinon, jasmine, jest
• Experience working on AWS. Basic understanding of Security Groups/ VPC etc.
• Experience on working with & integrating with microservices
• Experience on developing/ using CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins/ Git
