Sr Engineer - Mean Stack

Job Description:

You will be working with a team of highly-motivated, young & dynamic teams of engineers & reporting to the Engineering Lead.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing & continuous integration
• RDBMS and NoSQL databases preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Liaise with developers, designers to identify new features
• Follow emerging technologies

• Spent at least 1 yr in a solid back end role
• Experience taking a problem to a product solution (module/product)
• Prior experience working with startups and understanding the fast-paced, dynamic nature of work

• Javascript, NodeJS
• Client-server architecture
• OOP concepts, including design patterns
• Understanding of RDBMS (MySQL, Postgresql)
• Understanding of REST API
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ExpressJs

• Knowledge of TDD frameworks mocha, chai, jest, etc
• Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, RDS, EC2, SQS, S3, ECS, etc)
• Basic knowledge of Typescript, NextJs
• Prior experience in fin-tech

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.

• Engage in Node.js back-end development with MongoDB
• Work on Backend programming
• Work on databases
• Coordinate with front end teams for overall project overview
• Create User stories and UML, documentation of the business goals

• Must have knowledge of Node.Js, HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of git and AWS  
• Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms  
• Good in Object oriented design
• Ability to work independently and manage the entire backend of all platforms associated with Rejolut

Hands on experience in Python in 2.x and 3.x versions

• Developed and deployed services in AWS serverless Architecture
• Developed REST API’s using serverless framework, AWS Lambda, API Gateway
• Developed queue and notification services using AWS components - SQS, SNS
• Implemented authorization and authentication using AWS Cognito pool
• Developed Facial recognition systems using AWS Rekognition
• Hands on experience in Flask, Tornado, Quartz framework
• Hands on experience in designing and working on MicroService & Monolithic architecture
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

Mongo dB experience is must

Skills

• 3 to 7 Years of experience in Full Stack Technologies-  Express, Lambda, SQL, React, Node JS, Java
• Knowledge of web framework.
• Able to create database schemes that represent and support business processes
• Having a Start-Up experience is a plus
• Having a degree from Premier Engineering Institute is a plus

KRA 

• Work collaboratively in architecture/developing/maintaining solutions Design, efficient, testable, reusable, reliable, and clean code using best software development practices
• Contribute towards the entire development life cycle of analysis, design, implementation and test
• Integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Automation, including writing unit and integration tests
• Maintain high standards of quality for code technical documentation, and deliverable
• Detect, report, investigate, and fix product defects
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies/industry trends
