Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel Developer with strong JavaScript skills to work across the full stack. You will build scalable backend systems, interactive frontends, robust APIs, and use modern AI tools to speed up development. This role involves backend coding, frontend development, database design, and full-stack integration.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Backend Development

• Build reliable PHP applications and REST APIs
• Write clean, maintainable Laravel code
• Create REST APIs and work with GraphQL when required
• Work with microservices and Docker-based environments
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding best practices

2. Frontend Development

• Develop responsive and modular web UIs using JavaScript frameworks
• Build interactive components using React, Vue, or Angular
• Work with modern CSS frameworks and preprocessors
• Implement SPA features like routing & state management
• Ensure browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

3. Database Work

• Design database schemas for MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Write optimized SQL queries via Eloquent ORM or Query Builder
• Implement indexing and performance optimization
• Work with SQL & NoSQL databases
• Manage migrations and ensure database stability

4. AI Tools & Productivity

• Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Tabnine)
• Integrate AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude) into applications
• Build AI-powered features and automations
• Use AI tools for debugging, refactoring, and code optimization

5. Full-Stack Integration

• Connect frontend and backend layers smoothly
• Implement authentication and authorization flows
• Manage client-server data flow and API integrations
• Work with state management across the stack
• Ensure consistent and seamless user experiences

Backend Skills

• Strong experience with PHP 8+ & Laravel
• Eloquent ORM, Query Builder, Blade, Middleware, Events
• API development & authentication
• Redis/Memcached caching
• Queue management (Laravel Queues, Horizon)
• Working knowledge of Node.js

Frontend Skills

• Strong JavaScript (ES6+, async/await, modules)
• React / Vue / Angular
• State management (Redux, Vuex, NgRx)
• Build tools: Webpack, Vite, Laravel Mix
• CSS3, HTML5, Sass/Less or CSS-in-JS
• Responsive, mobile-first development

Database Skills

• MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis; MongoDB is a plus
• Schema design, optimization, indexing
• Migrations, normalization, performance tuning

In this role, you will:

• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Integrate data storage solutions.

You may be a fit if you have:

• 2 – 4 years of experience in building PHP web frameworks such as Lavarel.
• Understand the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• A proficient understanding building rich UI & front-end technologies, such as JavaScript,

HTML5, and CSS3.

• Working knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
• Experience in using fundamental design principles for a scalable application.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Knowledge of Integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Understanding of creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, Postgresql databases and their declarative query languages

• Implement best practices for the engineering team across code hygiene, overall architecture design, testing, and deployment activities
• Drive technical decisions for building data pipelines, data lakes, and analyst access.
• Act as a leader within the engineering team, providing support and mentorship for teammates across functions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
• Experienced developer in large data environments
• Experience using Git productively in a team environment
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Ability to sit with business or technical SMEs to listen, learn and propose technical solutions to business problems

• Experience with non-relational databases and their role in web architectures desired

• Java 8 and above
• Experiencein databases Mongodb, MySQL, SQL Oracle etc.
• Working knowledge in IOC Container / Spring boot& ORM, Spring Security, AOP JMS.
• Experience in Microservices, Eureka, Zuul, Ribbon would be an added advantage.
• Experience with build tools like Ant, Gradle or Maven and troubleshoot build issues.
• Should have exposure to GIT, Jira etc..
• Develops resealable frameworks/components and POCs based on Product Architecture RoadMap.
• Uses best practices during web services implementations and works with the REST
• Strong analytic problem-solving skills.
