MeltPlan | Planning Engine for the Built Environment
MeltPlan is building the “planning engine” for the $14 Tn construction industry, an AI system designed specifically to optimize decisions before construction begins. While design software optimizes use and aesthetics and construction software optimizes execution and control, MeltPlan is building the missing layer - software that optimizes decisions and tradeoffs upstream, before scope is locked, procurement begins, and change orders become inevitable. MeltPlan’s long-term goal is to help teams make construction “boring” by making planning more intense: surfacing constraints and tradeoffs early, aligning stakeholders before plans are frozen, and reducing the need for late-stage redlines, rework, and change orders.
MeltPlan is founded by operators who have built at scale. Kanav previously co-founded Innovaccer, a $3Bn health-tech company focused on making US healthcare more affordable and accessible. He’s now applying that systems-level thinking to construction. He’s joined by Tanmaya Kala, former Project Executive at DPR Construction, who led large commercial, healthcare, and life sciences projects. We combine deep tech scale with real construction execution. We’re building the biggest tech company in construction over the next decade, and this role sits at the center of how that story gets told.
What This Role Really Is
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll own how MeltPlan shows up in public. You’ll create AI-powered short-form content including videos, reels, stories, and experimental formats using modern AI tools instead of traditional production workflows. You’ll engage directly with architects, engineers, and builders, start real conversations, and help build an active community around AI and the future of construction, not just posts and follower counts.
This role is for someone who loves being around people and loves creating. Someone who naturally builds relationships, enjoys talking and engaging, and wants to be visibly involved in shaping how an entire industry thinks about AI. You’ll work closely with the founding team to help lead the narrative of AI in construction and define how a new category is understood.
This is also a rare opportunity to become AI-first by default. You’ll get hands-on exposure to AI tools across video creation, storytelling, editing, experimentation, and community building. If you want to become the kind of social media marketer who deeply understands AI, not just someone who uses it occasionally, this role is designed for that path.
What you’ll do
- Create punchy, educational, on-brand reels, short videos, and posts using AI tools across Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Experiment with AI-powered content creation: reels, short films, storytelling formats, and community-driven content
- Act as a brand ambassador – actively engaging with architects, engineers, contractors, and others in the industry
- Build and nurture relationships and communities
- Help lead and evolve MeltPlan’s narrative as a category-defining company
- Stay close to people: Conversations, DMs, comments, and industry discourse
- Work directly on brand storytelling, creative direction, and growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- You love being around people and naturally build connections and relationships
- You’re a natural talker and communicator – curious, confident, and personable
- You’re excited about storytelling, short-form video, and internet culture
- You’re eager to become an expert in AI tools for content creation, reels, short movies, and community building
- You may be entry-level or early-career, but you think and act with ambition
- You’re deeply curious about AI and how it will reshape creative work and construction
- You thrive in fast-moving environments and like owning things end-to-end
Why MeltPlan
- Opportunity to help lead the narrative of the biggest tech company in construction in the next decade
- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools for content creation and storytelling
- Real ownership over brand and community
- A role designed for rapid growth, creative freedom, and experimentation
