Product is a PowerPoint AI assistant used by consulting companies and Fortune 500 teams. A typical professional spends 1 to 3 hours creating one slide. With Product company, they create a v1 of their entire deck in 10 minutes, and make changes like “turn this table to a chart” in seconds directly within PowerPoint.

In the next 2 years, our goal at company is to forever change the way business presentations are made.

Who are we?

• founders are CS graduates from IIT Kharagpur with a specialisation in AI
• work 6 days a week from our office in HSR Layout in Bangalore

• used by consulting companies and Fortune 500 teams

Your responsibilities (in order)

• Design, implement, test, and deploy full features
• Design and implement a robust infrastructure to enable rapid development and automated testing
• Look at usage data to iterate on features

What we’re looking for

• Undergraduate or master's in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 2+ years of backend or DevOps software engineering experience
• Experience with TypeScript (JavaScript) or Python

Min. Experience: 3+ years in Full Stack Development

Skillset:

• You primarily identify as a full-stack engineer and are comfortable working on the server-side as well as UI side.
• You have shipped code to production recently and regularly
• You are driven and care about doing a good job and improving your craft.
• You have high integrity, and you are reliable
• You have excellent coding, programming, and problem-solving skills.
• You have experience with implementing modern architectural patterns.
• You have good debugging skills and coding practices
• You are fluent in using the tools of the trade: Editors, Git, Command line, Slack, Jira
• You should have relevant experience in the Ruby on Rails stack.
• You have experience with multiple ORMs
• You have experience in Postgres / MySQL
• You have experience in ReactJS

What You’ll Do:

• You’ll work with others to build new product features from start to finish: through conception, research, implementation and maintenance
• Ability to ship code that allows for high availability and good performance are a must in a mission critical software like ours
• Contribute to all phases of software development
• Be adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment

What We Are Looking For:

• Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
• Shipping quality user interfaces: You can work with others to build and maintain quality user interfaces for a big audience, using Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern UI framework like Angular. If you've experienced the technical challenges of rapid growth, that's a plus.
• Familiarity with the backend: You understand how parts of a system fit together—from the user interface to the data model. Experienced candidates should be familiar with relational database systems like MS SQL and backend technologies like .NET
• Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about the business impact of what you're building, and you prioritize projects accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
