Job Brief :

We are currently hiring a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building API interfaces and backend infrastructure and collaborating with UI, connectivity and DevOps teams to come up with elegant solutions to complex problems.

Main Responsibilities of a Ruby on Rails Developer :

Your responsibilities will include :

• Writing effective and scalable Ruby codes
• Designing and implementing robust applications
• Debugging applications to ensure low latency and high-availability
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Integrating data storage solutions
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Key Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• You have prior experience with Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
• Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapper), RESTful
• Familiarity with various testing tools and ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Good problem-solving skills

Name of the position: PHP Developer

Experience: 2 - 5 Yrs.

Mandatory Skills : Php, Codeigniter, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AJAX, Javascript, Laravel.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Study assigned technical specifications; Initiate development environment setup; Check the environment is functioning correctly; Determine ways to translate the technical specifications into executable code; Develop executable code that meets quality standards, security and performance guidelines; Seek review periodically; Complete documentation as per the scope; Perform code reviews to develop executable code that adheres to the technical/functional specifications.

1. Testing: Detect and fix defects prior to delivery to customer and ensure system is working as expected

1. Change control and Configuration management: Follow the Configuration Management guidelines for the Configuration items (CI) within scope to ensure version integrity.

1. Bug Fix / Defect Resolution: Study the existing system and identify the location of bugs; Identify the areas of executable code that will undergo change; Develop code to fix the bug identify impact of the new code on existing functionality to ensure that the bug reported is fixed in the given timeline without affecting any other areas of the system.

1. Defect prevention activities: Participate in Defect Prevention analysis; Review defects logged in the defect tracking log, Verify/review defect description and root cause to ensure non-recurrence of defects

1. Production support: Monitor the running of jobs; Identify failures /issues; Coordinate with teams to provide business with real time support for issues which prevent day to day business functions.

1. Develop new user-facing features.
2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
4. Ensure cross browser support.
5. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
6. Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
7. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Job Location: Mumbai - Chembur West - Walking distance from Chembur Station.

Experience & Qualification:

Proficient understanding of web markup, including Php, HTML5, CSS3, LAMP Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS. 

Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including AJAX, jQuery, AngularJS, React JS, etc.

Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN 

• BE/ BSc IT/ MCA/ Msc IT/ BTech. 

• Technology enthusiast with an ability to learn and adopt with different technologies

• CDAC certification preferred

Roles:

• 9+ years of experience developing service-based applications using Node.js.

• Experience using Node.js for automation and leveraging NPM for package management
• Solid Object-Oriented design experience, and creating and leveraging design patterns.

4. Experience leveraging node.js frameworks such as Express.

Job Position: JAVA Software Engineer
Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2 to 12 years

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing Web Applications using J2EE components.
• Responsible for developing standalone applications using Core Java and JDBC.

Desired Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / MSc in Computer Science or IT

Added advantage: Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) certification

Desired Skills:

• Strong skills in JAVA programming languages and focus specially on the following areas Servlets, JSP, Web Services, Struts framework, JDBC/JPA/mybatis (ibatis)/Hibernate, Threads, Collections and Design Patterns.
• Strong skills in web technologies HTML 4/5, JQuery, AJAX, Java Script and CSS.
• Thorough understanding of Object Orientation.
• Above average skills in SQL with familiarity in any of the standard RDBMS – MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle.
• Must have good written and oral communication in English language.
• Must be completely hands-on and an individual contributor and a self-starter; must be able to complete assignments (suitable to his/her experience) with minimal assistance.
• Very good at Analytical and Logical skills.
• Solid understanding of the web development lifecycle.
• Ability to learn quickly and deliver software on time.
