Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test low-latency, high-volume client-facing applications.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-scale, n-tier applications for the investment banking/capital markets domain.
• Implement microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot and other modern frameworks.
• Work extensively with Core Java 5.0 and above, Spring Framework, and CXF
• Optimize applications for multi-threading and high-performance server-side development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions
• Work with RDBMS (preferably Sybase) to handle large-scale data processing.
• Develop and maintain applications on Unix/Linux environments
• Utilize enterprise application design patterns to build robust and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring application stability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-based deployment.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and CXF
• Experience in developing and optimizing applications for high-volume, multi-threaded environments
• Solid understanding of financial domain applications, sales, and trading platforms
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (Sybase preferred)
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate and present design ideas effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement engineering strategies that support business objectives. Understand broader organization goals and prepare technology roadmaps.
• Technical Excellence: Guide the team in designing and implementing scalable, extensible and secure software systems. Drive the adoption of best practices in technical architecture, coding standards, and software testing to ensure product delivery with highest speed AND quality.
• Project and Program Management: Setting up aggressive as well as realistic timelines with all the stakeholders, ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects as per the defined timelines with best quality standards ensuring budget constraints are met. Use agile methodologies to manage the development process and resolve bottlenecks.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Business, and Operations teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Ensure the smooth integration of engineering efforts across the organization.
• Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate technical risks and roadblocks. Proactively identify areas of technical debt and drive initiatives to reduce it.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in software engineering
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, high-impact software projects.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages and modern development frameworks.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with releational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Redis, ElasticSearch.
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders at all levels.

• UiPath RPA Implementations and Working Knowledge: Studio, BOTs, Orchestrators, RE Framework and Three E2E Implementations as a Core RPA Developer.

• You will build cutting-edge secure and scalable systems by writing simple and efficient code.
• You will own the backend development for one or more of our modules and collaborate with architects, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products and/or iterate on existing features. You'll build and manage automated build/test/deployment environments
• Ensure high standards through code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions
• You will ensure that the systems you oversee are secure, fault-tolerant, and are performing reliably at high volumes.

• Well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Programming experience with at least one of Java or Python and object-oriented design
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, Messaging/Caching technologies, and AWS deployments is a plus
• Able to write unit integration tests with coverage of code & interfaces. TDD is a plus
• Exposure to the architecture and design (design patterns, security, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems. Experience in building highly scalable business applications, which involve implementing large complex business flows involving multiple third-party integrations
• Prior startup experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Crawl the internet/intranet for issues people are facing and convert them in to stuctured data that would be consumed downstream.
• Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment.
• Comply with coding standards and technical design.
• Adapts structured coding styles for easy review, testing, and maintainability of the code.
• Integrate the developed functionality and/or component into a fully functional system.
• Ensure unit and integration level verification plans are in place and adheres to the great quality of code at all times.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting, debugging and updating current live system.
• Verify user feedback in making the system more stable and easy.
• Work closely with analysts, designers, and other peer developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, Persistence, Threading.
• Good understanding of version control system (GIT).
• Knowledgeable in data structures and algorithms.
• A background in Engineering with sound oral and written communication skills.
• 6+ years of experience working on the server-side.
• Exposure to API designing, scalable architecture, and thorough understanding of systems.
• Great database modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of Databases, both relational (such as PostgreSQL) and in-memory database (such as Redis).
• Good understanding of web stack and how all the pieces fit together.
• Experience with open-source projects.
• Experience in designing interactive applications.
