Job Summary

Hitasoft, a web and mobile application development company is looking for a Full Stack Developer(MERN) to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

The job location is Madurai.

Responsibilities

Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models

Creating RESTful services with Node.js

MERN stack developer must have proven experience in front & back-end development.

Work in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience.

Developer must expertise into MongoDB, Express, Node.js, & React.

Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code.

MERN full stack developer must have the ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly.

Understanding & proficiency in REST APIs.

MERN stack developer should know Git Repository and Jira.

Integration of data storage solutions [RDBMS, NoSQL DB].

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.

Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

Create security and data protection settings.

Requirements

MERN Full stack eCommerce developer is responsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

Implementation of security and data protection.

Understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques.

MERN software developers must have good communication & interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building a website based on the given requirements and ensure it’s successfully deployed
• Responsible for designing, planning, and testing new web pages and site features
• A propensity for brainstorming and coming up with solutions to open-ended problems
• Work closely with other teams, and project managers, to understand all stakeholders’ requirements and ensure that all specifications and requirements are met in final development
• Troubleshoot and solve problems related to website functionality
• Takes ownership of initiatives and drives them to completion.
• Desire to learn and dive deep into new technologies on the job, especially around modern data storage and streaming open source systems
• Responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing REST APIs
• Create website content and enhance website usability and visibility
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and testing for mobile responsiveness
• Ability to integrate payment processing and search functionality software solutions
• Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and the latest coding practices
• Collaborate with the team of designers, content managers, and developers to determine site goals, functionality, and layout
• Monitor website traffic and overall system’s health with Google analytics to ensure high GTmetrix score
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Develop server-side logic and APIs that integrate with front-end applications.
• Architect and design complex database structures and data models.
• Develop and implement backend systems to support scalable and high-performance web applications.
• Create automated tests to ensure system stability and performance.
• Ensure security and data privacy measures are maintained throughout the development process.
• Maintain an up-to-date changelog for all new, updated, and fixed changes.
• Ability to document and manage all the software design, requirements, reusable & transferable code, and other technical aspects of the project.
• Create and convert storyboards and wireframes into high-quality full-stack code
• Write, execute, and maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Implement security and data protection
• Ensure code that is platform and device-agnostic

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• B.Tech. / BE / MS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Expertise in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Should have prior working experience of at least 3 years as web developer or full stack developer
• Should have done projects in e-commerce or have preferably worked with companies operating in e-commerce
• Should have expert-level knowledge in implementing frontend technologies
• Should have worked in creating backend and have deep understanding of frameworks
• Experience in the complete product development life cycle
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON, PHP, XML
• Proficiency in databases, including analytical (e.g., mySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Hive, Elastic etc.)
• Knowledge of architecting or implementing search APIs
• Great understanding of data modeling and RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft office tools : excel, word, powerpoint etc.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design (Web, Mobile & App)
• Should be a self starter and have ability to work without being supervised
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience building high throughput/low latency systems.
• Knowledge of big data systems such as Cassandra, Elastic, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Should be willing to be a part of a small team and working in fast-paced environment

• Should have experience in user experience design, website optimization techniques and different PIM tools

• Strong working knowledge of Typescript, MongoDB, MySQL, Express

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, ES6

• Hands-on experience in React JS

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3

• Strong understanding of NodeJS fundamentals

• Knowledge and experience working with PostgreSQL is a major plus

• Experience with ORM libraries

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of tools like Git, GitHub, JIRA, Cucumber, Jasmine, and others that make coding more efficient and easier to share
• Familiarity of working in either the AWS Cloud or Azure including Docker + Kubernetes based microservice deployment.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of digital ad tech ecosystem

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a professional environment on full-stack development

- Proven expertise in creating and developing scalable enterprise or B2C web applications

- Experience in REST API development and MVC/MVVM development methodologies

- Deep understanding of the underlying architecture of web servers, load balancing, and browser nuances. Basically, a solid understanding of fundamentals - including execution models, asynchronous programming, object-oriented concepts, relational concepts, etc.

- Proficiency in one or more of Node.js/MEAN stack, Python, Java or other frameworks and willing to be flexible on stack as per the requirement of the project. Most of our current development is on the MEAN stack - expertise in the stack will be a definite plus

- Proficiency in one or more of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra or other equivalent databases and willing to be flexible as per the requirement of the project. Most of our current development is on MongoDB and MySQL - expertise in these will be a definite plus

- Good understanding of developer tools and devops such as Git, Ansible, cloud platforms such as AWS, Docker, etc.

• Design implement and support highly scalable applications and web services using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, SQL Server, Windows Forms, Web API/Rest API)
• Candidates should have the ability to train and work along with development teams to ensure timelines and quality deliveries.
• Lead project estimations, system architecture and performance engineering of projects
• Support software engineers on the team with guidance, experience, oversight, advice and code reviews
• Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that the software is fully unit tested, can be performance tested, and passes quality requirements

Desired Candidate Profile – 

• Candidate needs to have more than 5+ years of experience with IT industry.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in designing and developing applications on the .NET platform.
• More than 1+ year of experience with MVC, WCF framework is needed.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in React or Angular or JQuery, HTML, CSS
• Experience in web application Architecture and Development with hands on expertise in delivering solutions based on/customizing ASP.Net 4.0 / MVC and above.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server programming.
• Strong understanding of OOPS fundamentals, Entity Framework, LINQ and REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (TFS/SVN/Git).
• Proficient understanding of build/release management processes.
• Must have experience of working in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Must have some experience developing Windows-based applications.
• Must possess very good logical, analytical and communication skills.
• Candidates with knowledge of US Mortgage process will be given preference.
• Must be willing to travel abroad for short- and long-term duration.
• Shift timing 11 am- 8 pm, 6 pm- 3 am, 4 pm- 1 am (Candidate needs flexibility for all shift as per client requirements).
