As we continue to expand, we're looking for an ambitious, results-driven Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with a strong background in building scalable SaaS applications and expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure. This is an onsite role where you'll take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, contribute to system design, mentor team members, and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Code Quality and Development:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs efficiently.

System Design:

• Lead and contribute to Low-Level Design (LLD) and High-Level Design (HLD) for complex system architectures.
• Drive technical discussions to define the technical roadmap for the product.

API Integration:

• Design, develop, and integrate APIs to ensure seamless functionality with third-party systems.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance in API implementations.

AWS Expertise:

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and monitor systems using AWS services.

Mentorship and Team Collaboration:

• Mentor interns and freshers to build their technical capabilities and confidence.

Ownership and Management:

• Take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with technical deliverables.
• Exhibit a proactive, managerial ownership attitude in delivering results.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience of 4+ years in building SaaS applications.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure with hands-on experience of 2+ years.
• Expertise in LLD and HLD for designing scalable and reliable systems with hands-on experience of 2+ years.
• Proven track record of API integration and troubleshooting production bugs.
• Experience in managing code quality, performing reviews, and adhering to development best practices with hands-on experience of 2+ years.
• Understanding of frontend-backend integration for delivering seamless user experiences.

Good-to-Have:

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to observability tools for performance monitoring and debugging.

Role & responsibilities

• Senior Java developer with 6 to 10 years of experience having worked on Java, SpringBoot, Hibernate, Microservices, Redis, AWS S3
• Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

We are looking for a highly motivated developer with at least 1+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java to join our startup. You would be playing a pivotal role in contributing to the initial tech stack. You would be further responsible for designing and implementing product requirements that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable. You should be comfortable working across different technologies/frameworks that we work on - Microservices, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, MySQL, Kubernetes, AWS.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and build scalable REST APIs on Spring Boot
• Develop, test, tune for performance and deploy microservices
• Collaborate with the team, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture
• Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation and other deliverables
• Active cross-team coordination would be expected
