Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer (SDE 2) professional with strong expertise in building scalable backend applications, microservices, and distributed systems in Agile environments.

Mandatory Keywords :

Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Microservices, Cloud, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, System Design.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using Node.js & TypeScript.

• Build REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance applications.

• Work on microservices, cloud platforms, and production support.

• Follow best practices including TDD, testing, and DevOps processes.

• Mentor team members and contribute to technical excellence.

Mandatory Skills :

• 5+ years of software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript.

• Experience with Express.js/Koa/Sails.js.

• GraphQL, REST APIs, Microservices

• AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud

• Docker, Kubernetes, Redis

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, Git, and DevOps.

Good to Have :

Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apollo Federation, New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, React.js/Next.js, Jest/Mocha/Cucumber

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Proven track record of Team Leading/Mentoring a team successfully.
• Experience with web technologies and microservices architecture both frontend and backend.
• Java, Spring framework, hibernate
• MySQL, Mongo, Solr, Redis, 
• Kubernetes, Docker
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with API Design, ability to architect and implement an intuitive customer and third-party integration story
• Ability to think and analyze both breadth-wise (client, server, DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity) while designing and implementing services
• Exceptional design and architectural skills
• Experience of cloud providers/platforms like GCP and AWS

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features.
• Work alongside the product to understand our requirements, and design, develop and iterate, think through the complex architecture.
• Writing clean, reusable, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
• Encourage innovation and efficiency improvements to ensure processes are productive.
• Ensure the training and mentoring of the team members.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed.
• Research and apply new technologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Team mentorship and leadership.

Need Immediate Joiners only (4-5 days)

Overall experience 6+ years and relevant at least 2+ years in Golang with Java

● Strong design and architectural experience in building various highly-scalable and

highly-available products

● Strong understanding of the SDLC Activities which include Analysis, Design, Development,

Testing, Deployment and Post-Production Support etc.

● Proficiency in at least one server side framework for languages preferably Go Lang

● Experience working on NoSQL & SQL Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB,

Redis etc

● Deep Dive, problem-solving, RCA and systematic thinking to reach the cause of issues

● Able to work independently and multi-task effectively

● Program at a system level and able to manage service stability

● Excellent experience maintaining, scalable, extensible code

● Methodical in maintaining up to date documentation

● Metric-driven mindset and obsessive about ensuring clean coding practices

● Preferred experience in product development

● Preferred working experience on microservices platforms

● Proficiency in at least one modern web front-end development framework such as React JS

will be a bonus

Good to Have Skills:

● Preferred experience in Elasticsearch and Kibana (ELK Stack)

● Preferred experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ

Desired Candidate :

• Experience in Node.JS working with large scale backend applications
• Expertise in any Relational or NoSQL databases and any of caching databases
• Experience in integrating with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and Microservice APIs
• Good problem solving and debugging skill
• Good knowledge of engineering excellence: Unit Testing/TDD, Code quality,
• Documentation, CI&CD
• Exposure on event-driven, asynchronous I/O
• Experience in Linux development and AWS ecosystem tools
• Experience in non-functional requirements (Scalability, Performance optimisation, Security)
