Responsibilities in this role include:-

Convert design mockups or wireframes into fully functional and responsive WordPress themes, adhering to best practices and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

Customise existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements, ensuring consistent branding and design throughout the website.

Develop websites that are responsive and mobile-friendly, ensuring optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

Implement performance optimization techniques to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions.

Work closely with designers, backend developers, and other team members to translate design concepts into functional code. Collaborate on projects to ensure a cohesive and efficient development process.

Integrate and format content, including text, images, videos, and other media, within WordPress to ensure accurate representation of the design.

Integrate and configure third-party plugins as needed to enhance website functionality and meet project requirements.

Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase changes, track revisions, and collaborate effectively with the development team.

Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any frontend-related issues, ensuring a bug-free user experience.

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and WordPress, and recommend best practices to improve website quality and performance.

Qualification Required:-

Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Strong understanding of frontend technologies and their application in building responsive and interactive websites.

WordPress Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.

Responsive Design: Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.

As a core member of the Software Development team, you will be responsible for the architecture, coding, development, testing and release of customer applications hosted both on-premise and on-cloud. Candidates with proven experience in both Frontend and Backend Development (predominantly Backend Development) with prior experience in deploying applications on AWS/Azure cloud will be preferred.

You will be leading a small team of developers (not more than 3 at a time) on a given project, and be a client-facing SPOC to work with the client and meet stringent deadlines.
