Senior React Native Developer

Role

We are looking for a  Senior Software Engineer - Python, React to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.

You should be comfortable around front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

Responsibilities

• Write effective, scalable code
• Develop front-end and back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications
• Test and debug programs
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Qualifications

• BSc/BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Must have 4+ years of work experience as a Python/Django (Back-end) and React (Front-end) developer
• Expertise in Django Framework. Other frameworks like Flask Pyramid knowledge are good to have
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS.
• Proficient in Terraform which allows migration to Kubernetes 
• Experience with DevOps toolchains such as Docker, Travis CI, Jenkins, Git.,
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git) 
• React experience is good to have
• Team spirit
• Good problem-solving skills

• Must Have worked in a product development for minimum of 1 years 
• Must Understand the Product life cycle (Requirement analysis/ design/architecture).
• Must Have hands on Coding Experience in J2EE technologies, Core Java, JavaScript, Web services SOAP, RESTful services
• Good experience on any one application server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache servers etc.).
• Database experience in any one DB like Oracle/ MySQL/MS SQL etc.
• Knowledge / Experience with any one open source development tools and frameworks (Eclipse, ANT, Junit, PMD, SVN etc.)
• Ability to understand UML design diagrams. Ideally should have designed some modules in prior projects using OOAD and UML.
• Extensive experience with multi-tier transactional architecture and design.
• Passionate about test driven, clean code, automatically tested and continuous deployment

Good to have:

• Any prior Work or Knowledge on newer technologies like Big data cloud, Hadoop and spark)
• Any prior Work or Knowledge on NoSQL, ORM, AWS Services (EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, Cloudfront)
• Any prior Work or Knowledge/ MOOC on Machine Learning and AI.
• Experience in performance engineering domain (testing, tuning, profiling) will be a definite add-on.
• Expertise with identity management, authentication and information security best practices

Education

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology with overall high academics.

Experience

3- 5+ years of experience as a .Net Application/Software Developer

Job Requirements

The Software Developer must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience (either through in an internship, previous employment, or in a college project):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field
• 3-5+ years of experience with C#, .NET 3.5 and above framework, Visual Studio 2012 and above, http://asp.net/">NETWeb Forms, and IIS 6/7; Familiarity or experience with server design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)), and general Server-Side Development (e.g. ASP.Net, SQL Server, Oracle, PHP)
• Experience with SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JSON Requests, Responsive Web Development, and cross browser development is a PLUS.
• Experience in other languages such as mobile based (Objective-C, Java, Swift, etc.) is a PLUS.
• Experience with GIT, Subversion, or similar version control systems.
• Understanding of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Concepts.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, production deployment and maintenance; Experience or understanding of working in an Agile environment

• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to write technical documentation for internal or external developer/technical audiences.

Role & Responsibilities

Depending on current project needs, responsibilities could entail any of the following:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into architecture concepts and pseudocode
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code by writing clean, scalable code using Object Oriented Programming Principles (OOP) and our defined Development Standards guide
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying any observed bottlenecks and bugs, and suggesting solutions / technical alternatives to mitigate and address these issues; Make recommendations and/or changes towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code, and improve/streamline processes and systems
• Support projects through entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in the requirements analysis and research gathering (R&D) process, and/or writing documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and other forms of documentation.
• Interact with team members (end-users, testers, distributors, analysts and project/release managers) in a team-oriented fashion
• Follow software development methodologies and best practices
• Ensure system improvements and tickets are successfully implemented through following up with developers and QA team

• Developer with 3-5 years of well-proven experience in Web UI & middleware REST API development using NodeJS and ReactJS
• Must be well versed with using anonymous functions, Prototypes, Call-back functions, promises in Node JS
• Experience in ReactJS component lifecycle and Redux
• Must be able to create and consume data from REST services.
• Experience in Babel and Webpack
• Must be familiar with Github and GitLab
• Must have strong experience in MYSQL, Postgres relational databases and MongoDB.
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS is an added advantage
• Experience in GCP, Azure, AWS cloud technologies is an added advantage
• Familiarity with continuous integration

• 2+ years of experience participating in the delivery of technology services.
• A proven ability to learn new applications & innovate in technology
• Strong Experience in technologies like Node, Webservices and Microservices
• Experience with cloud components and services and containerization technologies is desirable
• Exposure to ReactJS mandatory
• Experience working with multiple types of datastores: Mongo DB, SQL
• Experience in integrating, designing and developing solutions is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD and TDD is desirable

You are required to possess good knowledge of PHP and experience in Laravel repository.

Key Skills:

PHP MVC Framework Laravel, API Integration and Development, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Version Control Systems, Repository Management, Basic understanding to work on AWS
