Job Responsibilities:

1. WordPress Theme and Plugin Development:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
• Ensure the compatibility and responsiveness of websites across various devices.

1. Website Design and Layout:

• Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly website designs.
• Optimize website layout for maximum usability and user experience.

1. Content Management:

• Set up and manage content within WordPress, ensuring it is well-structured and easily maintainable.
• Provide training and support to clients on content management best practices.

1. Website Maintenance and Updates:

• Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on existing WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.

1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work closely with designers, UI/UX specialists, and other developers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of web development projects.

1. Customization and Integration:

• Implement custom functionalities and integrations based on client requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration with third-party APIs and services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development technologies.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, best practices, and coding standards.
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

Responsibilities

• Help implement Magento e-commerce applications
• Active participation in discovery, launch and maintenance
• Installation and configuration of Magento 1 and 2
• Create custom e-commerce modules using object- oriented PHP and Magento APIs

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certified Magento developer credentials
• Meaningful PHP Web Development experience
• Familiarity and experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural patterns
• Strong MySQL skills
• Experience using PHP to create and consume web services (e.g. SOAP, REST)
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of JavaScript
• Good knowledge of CSS and CSS pre-processors
• Linux System Administration experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience with release building and deployment software, such as Jenkins, preferred but not  required

Role - We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full Stack Developer will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. You will strike a balance between the consumers’ intent and the business’s needs.

What you will do in this role

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with business and product owners, creative designers and back-end developers.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Review requirements, design specifications, propose solutions and implementation.
• Work with team leads on the requirements and create estimates against those requirements.
• Deliver projects on time in an agile and continuous development environment.
• Writing tests in a client-side test framework such as Jest, Jasmine, etc.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goal.

What you should have

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in software development and system administration.
•  Experience in Micro services, Serverless applications, Container-based applications.
•  Strong Experience on AWS cloud (Lambda, S3, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, ECS, Dynamo DB).
•  Good understanding of Devops, Apache Kafka.
•  Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS.
•  Proficiency with server side languages such as NodeJS, Python and PHP.
•  Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Mongo DB and Dynamo DB.
•  Familiarity with Logging & Monitoring tools like Kibana, NewRelic, DataDog
• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD.

• BE (Comp/IT), ME (Comp/IT), MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech.

• Create new sites, features, and enhancements according to customer specifications.
• Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, appealing, functional and intuitive implementation.
• Write the codes using development best practices.
• Effectively contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Perform testing of features before deployment. Programmatic testing with PHP Unit framework or similar is highly value
• 3+ solid years of web development using LAMP.
• 2+ solid years of Laravel MVC framework
• Thorough knowledge of OOP/MVC with PHP and MySQL on Linux platforms.
• Solid development version control practices (GitHub, Source Tree)
• Expertise in developing and consuming REST web services.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, and Testing).
• Experience with relational database design and development using MySQL.
• A communication pro - must be able to pleasantly explain technical issues to a non-technical person.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
