Responsibilities and Duties

• Should have good knowledge and experience 2+ years of experience in core Php, Opencart, Magento, Wp, Shopify Etc
• Produce detailed specifications
• Maintain and optimization and functional code
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools.
• Focus on Unit Testing and ensure the test-driven process

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven software development experience in PHP, Web services, WSDL, XML, and SOAP
• Familiarity with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern, and previous experience developing web applications using this pattern or on existing MVC frameworks
• Good knowledge of relational databases, experience interacting with MySQL database systems through an abstraction layer, in addition to the ability to write raw SQL queries.
• Front-end development experience with strong Javascript skills (including frameworks/libraries such as jQuery, AJAX, JSON) as well as familiarity with accepted CSS and HTML design standards.
• Experience in common third-party APIs i.e. (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc) will be an added advantage.
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.

Your primary role will be to drive and grow our in-house software expertise. Working with a small software team in India and the UK, you will be responsible in understanding the requirements from various internal teams and taking ownership of software development, including backend database development and any front-end applications that will be developed in the future. Implementing AGILE methodologies, you will be responsible for delivering iterative results through regular sprints.

The software team manages a range of systems for the company, ranging from our client-facing applications to content delivery portals. You will be involved in all the projects and will contribute to developing, maintaining, and improving our systems. You will also be expected to keep on top of the latest developments in the software world and constantly check if we can make use of the latest technologies to deliver an even better user experience to both our internal and external clients. This role will suit someone who has extremely good technical skills but who is also ambitious to play a more strategic role in a growing company and build a strong team. The role may also require occasional travel to our UK headquarters and other offices around the world.

Basic experience developing web applications using Cake PHP or other MVC framework

Strong PHP skills with any MVC Framework -Cake PHP / Laravel / Yii / Code ignitor, etc.

Strong MySQL, AJAX, jQuery, HTML & JavaScript skills

Experience integrating Payment Gateway and third-party PHP libraries is preferable

Championing Web Development: You will be responsible for handling web development from ideation to production.

Collaboration with product manager and other developers, owning a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution.

Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing web products.

Desired Profile

Great skills in PHP MVC frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.

Extensive Experience in API integration and development is required.

Experience in jQuery and AJAX.

Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, and CSS is required.

Basic understanding of version control systems like Git and SVN.

Experience working with AWS or any other Linux Cloud Servers is a huge plus.

Passionate about writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Strong analytical and debugging skills and experience building consumer systems at scale.

• Experience in at least one of the frameworks   YII / Codeigniter
• Experience in Laravel(Mandatory)
• Good experience in JS, JQuery, AJAX, Angular JS
• Good experience in Html, CSS, Responsive Design.
• Ability to write and consume web services and REST services.
• Knowledge on Developing APIs for Mobile Applications
• Should have excellent communication skill and technical skill
• Extensive OOD (Object-oriented design) / OOP (Object-oriented programming) experience.
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL), version control tools and of developing web services
• Should have good understanding skill and ability to work independently or within a team and lead a team.

• Knowledge of and experience applying design patterns andimplementing industry best practices required.
