Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Java Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java development with a focus on backend frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. If you’re passionate about clean code, scalable applications, and delivering robust software solutions—this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and deliver high-quality software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Ensure best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile practices.

• You will design, build and own APIs and Services, which will be the core of the product.
• You will participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• You will part of developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• You will have to take lead on projects, compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in building highly scalable backend systems.
• Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as JAVA, Operating System may be required, and Experience in Databases such as MySQL or Postgre SQL
• Strong understanding of Computer Science Fundamentals, Data Structures and Algorithms, SOLID Design Principles, and REST Patterns.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a group

• 6 to 8 years of experience with the majority as Java engineer
• Strong hands-on experience on building the application using technologies Java, Spring/Springboot/Microservices
• Experience in building Micro Services using Spring Boot would be a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience with SQL queries and databases like Postgre SQL/Oracle.
