JOB DESCRIPTION

Wissen Technology is now hiring for a Java Developer - Bangalore with hands-on experience in Core Java, algorithms, data structures, multithreading and SQL. Required Skills:

• Exp. - 3-5 years
• Experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale applications and systems. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
• Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client- facing applications.
• Good development experience with RDBMS.
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-performance server-side development.
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Excellent problem solving and coding skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions.
• Work with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Ensure security and performance of applications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOPs, and Java 8+ features.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security, etc.).
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiar with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
• Understanding of design patterns and software engineering principles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Preferred candidate profile

• Frontend experience with Angular/React.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in performance tuning or profiling Java applications.
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Participate in requirements analysis and design 
• Development of Web applications and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework 4.7, C#, ASP.NET MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework 6.0, EF Core
• Development of Microservices using Clean Architecture, CQRS, .NET Design Patterns, SOLID Principles and Object-oriented design & analysis (OOA & OOD)
• Development of Microservices using Microsoft Azure or AWS, Dockers and Kubernetes
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (C#)
• Write Microsoft SQL queries and optimize both external and internal DB processes and procedures.
• Use automation tools, following CI/CD best practices in an established DevOps team.
• Write unit and integration tests using Moq
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support  

Responsibilities

• Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end
• Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies
• Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes
• Hire, Develop and Retain a strong team of engineers
• Keep abreast of the changes in the industry and champion new technologies and development processes within the team
• Thinking backwards from a customer POV and relentlessly pursuing customer's cause in tech and product decisions

• Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Computer Science (IITs, IIITs and NITs preferred)
• 6-10 years of strong experience in JAVA(Spring/Hibernate/JPA/REST), JavaScript, NodeJS with good exposure to MySQL
• Experience with AWS, Microservices, Caching, Performance Optimization, Nginx, Solr, Redis, Redshift
• Experience working with agile teams and making rapid decisions in dynamic and disruptive environment
• 2+ years of leading and managing a team consisting of backend, frontend and QA.

• Strong communication skills
• High motivation to work in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment

This person MUST have:

• BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent
• Cloud app development experience
• Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
• Experience with the fullsite of Go frameworks and tools, including:
• Dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
• Go’s templating language
• Go’s code generation tools,such as Stringer
• Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
• Familiarity with code versioning tools(such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

Experience:

• Min 3 year experience
• Not more than 15 year experience.
• Startup experience is a must.

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone. .

• 5to 7 years plus experience having implemented Adobe Experience Manager based Solution in a large scale environment
• Deep understanding of Adobe AEM, Apache Sling, Servlets
• Experience developing applications, templates, and components for the Adobe AEM product (WCM, DAM, CRX)
• Experience customizing workflows and integration with other enterprise systems
• Demonstrated experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies
• Expertise in Java, web development experience, and other Content management system experience.
• Great understanding of Web technologies like XML, HTML, Client Server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations.
• Should have exposure on the continuous integration build tools and code quality tools

Responsibilities

• Develop digital consumer experiences based on a foundation of the Adobe AEM product suite, including AEM, CRX, Target, and DAM
• Translate marketing and website needs into AEM specific recommendations and solutions
• Leverage AEM, other state-of-the-art technologies, and integration patterns to solve cross-departmental challenges
• Design and improve internal development methodologies around Adobe AEM solution
• Develop front end and back end components using AEM

Required background, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 5.5+/ 7+ Years of experience in a scalable product/ecommerce organization·       
• Excellent Java skills, Understanding of Spring framework & MVC approach
• Strong knowledge of Performance optimization and caching techniques.
• Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts, data structure and algorithms
• Experience in developing scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed backend services
• Experience with prevalent design patterns and advanced system designing
• Good experiences with databases and Schema design. We heavily use NoSQL databases
• Strong Problem Solving skills

• Build robust & scalable web applications
• Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting & delivery of web applications.
• Design and create relational database schema & application framework as needed
• Work with a worldwide team to integrate the product to meet the requirement

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science from a top-tier institution
• Relevant full-time work experience of 4-8 years
• Strong foundation in computer science, with solid competencies in object-oriented software design patterns, software QA methodologies, processes, and test automation.
• Ability to self-teach.
