Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with a strong background in perpetual trading platforms and Web3 projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience integrating perpetual trading APIs such as GMX, Hyperliquid, or similar decentralized perpetual exchanges. You will develop high-performance, real-time trading interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, responsive, and real-time front-end interfaces for perpetual trading dashboards.
• Integrate APIs from decentralized perpetual trading platforms like GMX, Hyperliquid, or others.
• Implement real-time order books, charts, and market data using REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Collaborate with backend, blockchain, and UI/UX teams to deliver a cohesive trading experience.
• Optimize the interface for low latency and high-frequency data updates.
• Implement wallet connectivity (MetaMask, WalletConnect) and secure trade execution flows.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following modern front-end practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer in crypto, DeFi, or trading platforms.
• Proven experience integrating perpetual trading APIs (e.g., GMX, Hyperliquid, Drift, or similar).
• Strong skills in React.js / Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with real-time data using WebSockets.
• Familiarity with charting libraries (TradingView, Recharts, D3.js).
• Understanding of Perpetual Trading, Futures, and DeFi trading mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with Web3 integration using ethers.js or web3.js.
• Knowledge of API integration, front-end performance optimization, and security best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience in DEX / Web3 UI development.
• Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, or other state management tools.
• Understanding of smart contracts and on-chain data.
• Strong eye for UI/UX design in complex trading applications.

What you'll do:

· Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Angular, ionic, Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, Apache Cordova, RESTful APIs and more

· Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible

· Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible

· Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Automate feature testing and contribute UI testing framework

· Become a subject matter expert for our mobile applications

· Deliver amazing solutions to production that knock everyone’s socks off

· Mentor junior developers on the team

The Opportunity

• We are looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer to build out and manage our entire web infrastructure. Minimum of three years’ recent experience with all of the skills listed below.
• Design and implementation of the overall web architecture.
• Implementation of “Pixel-perfect” screens from our approved user interface.
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
• Design and construction of our REST API.
• Hands-on experience working with RDBMS and Document databases
• Exposure to graphql is an added advantage.
• Integrating our front-end UI with the API developed.

What we Require

• To convert our existing web application into a micro front-end architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience in AngularJS, ReactJS, MobX, and SCSS. Exposure to socket integration, mqtt integration would be a plus.
• Identify our existing web application’s different components and modules. Separate them into independent micro front-ends.
• Develop and maintain micro front-ends using AngularJS, ReactJS, MobX and SCSS
• Implement and configure Module Federation in Webpack 5 to share components between micro front-ends.
• Optimize micro front-ends for maximum speed and scalability.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
• Upgraded an application from Webpack 4 to Webpack 5 for local development & production build
• Hands-on experience in converting JavaScript applications into Typescript

As a front end product engineer, you will work with product engineers & designers to improve the overall user experience, performance, reliability and scalability of our systems. • Complete Finly's new-hire training week, and learn Accounts Payable Processes & the various partners we work with to make Finly happen.
• Investigate, solve and release a bug fix to production. In order to do this you will ramp up on Finly's engineering stack by pair-programming with your teammates and attending engineering training sessions designed and presented by the team.
• Meet with cross-functional peers around the company to learn how the product functions.
• Complete your engineering starter project and deploy your first changes to production.

WITHIN 3 MONTHs, YOU'LL

• Learn Finly's technical stack and apply development patterns through your work.
• Engage in your first on-call rotation in Support Engineering to help diagnose and resolve production problems and customer issues
• Individually contribute reliably ship full features to customers.
• Estimate technical scope and time to complete major features and initiatives.

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Move to new product vertical & initiative and start designing scalable frontend systems.
