About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in manual testing and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products through rigorous manual testing.

Responsibilities

● Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test strategies based on project requirements.

● Perform various types of manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

● Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies using a bug tracking system.

● Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development process.

● Analyze and troubleshoot issues to provide detailed and accurate bug reports with clear steps to reproduce.

● Participate in requirement reviews and provide valuable feedback to improve the overall quality of the product.

● Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies

● Experience in Customer Support with an enterprise software organization.

● Experience with Linux or UNIX administration (Clustering, High Availability, Load Balancing, etc.).

● Hands-on experience in managing web servers (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).

● Elementary database (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) operational knowledge.

● Proficient with Scripting or other programming languages.

● Hands-on experience on ticketing tools (Jira / Freshdesk).

The Role:

● Render exceptional first-tier phone/email support for efficient resolution of technology and functional problems across all products.

● Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.

● Follow an established set of processes while handling support requests.

● Report any issue that may significantly impact the business.

● Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.

● Ensure all calls are logged in the ticketing logging system & every activity is updated.

● Ensure users and management are notified during downtimes with complete information.

● Identify and learn more about the software and hardware used/supported by the organization.

● Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues. Prepare accurate and timely reports.

● Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.

Additional / Preferred Skills:

● Exposure at client sites is desirable.

● Experience in the Financial Service industry or Banking applications is desirable

Mandatory (Experience): Must have 4+ years of fundraising experience startups, AIFs, or investment products), investor management and network building

Mandatory (Tech Skills 1): Must be proficient in pitching investment opportunities and onboarding investors

Mandatory (Tech Skills 2 ): Must have experience conducting investor meetings & presentations

Mandatory (Tech Skills 3): Must have experience achieving revenue targets

Strong dialer manager profile

Mandatory (Experience 1):Must have 2+ years of core dialer operations experience with major dialer systems — Genesys, Avaya, Aspect, Ameyo

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands-on experience in outbound campaign creation, list uploads, pacing changes, and real-time monitoring.

Mandatory (Technical Experience): Must understand routing/pacing optimization, retry logic, call attempts, ANI strategy, contact strategy, and compliance norms etc
