Role Overview

CargoSprint is seeking a Senior / Lead .NET Engineer to drive backend architecture, engineering excellence, and technical delivery for our Hyderabad engineering team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong expertise in modern .NET technologies, Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development. The successful candidate will take ownership of designing and delivering high-performance backend services, influencing architectural decisions, and ensuring security, scalability, and reliability across our technology platforms.

1. Backend Architecture and Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C#, .NET 8 and above, and modern Microsoft development technologies.

• Design resilient systems with appropriate fault tolerance, error handling, retries, and recovery mechanisms.
• Establish observability and incident management practices to improve service reliability.
• Lead blameless post-incident reviews and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure engineering practices align with applicable SOC 2 and PCI DSS security and compliance requirements.

5. DevOps and Continuous Delivery

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

About the Role

Oddr is looking for a deeply hands-on Senior / Staff Software Engineer who combines strong backend engineering fundamentals with an AI-first way of building software.

This is not a traditional development role where AI is used only for code completion. We are looking for engineers who can understand a problem, design the right solution, define architectural and security guardrails, and then use AI aggressively to accelerate implementation without compromising quality.
