Senior Android Developer

As a Flutter developer, you’ll work on our mobile app that is built with Flutter. You’ll help to plan and develop new features, review other people’s code, fix bugs, help in technological and business decisions, and support the internal team. You will take initiative to run projects/features smoothly.

 

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of Flutter experience in a production environment
• At least 3 years of industry experience

Nice to have:

• Having the knowledge required to write native plugins in Swift or Kotlin is an asset
• Having a background in native iOS and/or Android development is a big plus (e.g. experience with Xcode, Gradle, Android Studio).
• Familiar with one or more CI/CD environments: CircleCI, Gitlab, Github, etc. Knowing your way around Fastlane to build & deploy your app comes in handy
• Experience in working with state management libraries such as Riverpod

• Familiar with writing tests for your application: unit tests, widget tests and integration tests
• UI / UX design principles
• Good understanding of coding best practices and design patterns
• Understanding of security technologies (encryption, authentication, OAuth 2.0)
• Contribution to open source projects
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed

Should have min 2+ years of Hands-on experience in React Native development.

• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML5 and front-end languages.
• Good understanding of Android/ iOS design guidelines, SDK.
• Exposure to building React Native components in native iOS and Android.
• Solve complex technical, scalability or performance challenges.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, Gitlab.

Duties & Responsibilities: • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code. • Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions. • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions. • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance. • Design interfaces to improve user experience. • Liaise with Product development team to plan new features. • Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards. • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols. • Stay up to date with new technology trends.

Required: - Work experience as Android developer with 3 to 4 years of experience on developing iOS applications. - Mandate skills (Flutter Or Kotlin), and Native Android - Must have direct interaction with client exp and has to work on atleast 4 to 5 projects - Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the Android Markets. - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs - Familiarity with OOP design principles - Educational degree is not a criterion. - Good verbal and written English communication skills. - Preferred location – Pune. • Take the lead to maintain and refactor code and remedy performance bottlenecks.
