Senior Android Developer

1. 3+ years of experience with Cordova
2. 4+ years of experience with Android and iOS Development.
3. Experience in Cordova Plugins using Native SDKs/APIs
4. Implementation of WebRTC in atleast one Cordova Project
5. Fluent communication Written and Verbal in English

• Proven 4+ years of Java Experience and preferably on Android App Development
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
• Added advantage if one has exposure to Android MDM APIs
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical
• requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

As part of your day to day job, you’ll

1. Own end-to-end features of the app: networking, persistence, business logic, and

UI

2. Use Kotlin (primary) and Java

3. Do reactive programming using RxJava2

4. Follow Model-View-Intent architecture to build UI of the app

5. Use Android Architecture Components

6. Write tests

7. Invent awesome Android stuff to make your job easier

Qualifications

1. Motivation to design and build reliable, elegant apps

2. 3 - 5.5 years of android application development experience

3. Proficiency in Java and experience in Kotlin

4. Familiarity with RxJava2, Dagger2, OkHttp, Retrofit, Android Architecture

1. We expect you to have your domain knowledge of Flutter, Dart, Room or Realm DB, BLOC pattern based development, Redux and RX Dart

3. You have the ability to explain your algorithms and solutions and understand how to ask questions with respect to mobile app development and web development scenarios
4. You are a smart and energetic talent from engineering and computer science background 
5. Based on the situations you can contribute individually or work with team and make work productive and fun
6. In terms of day to day work, for 2 years you should have done the following:
1. At least 2 to 3 live projects in Flutter or Native Android or iOS
2. Thorough understanding of Dart programming for mobile application development
3. Writing frontend code with SOLID principle
4. Unit testing of your code with Travis CLI
5. Collaborative development with BitBucket or GIT and handling of code merge conflicts
6. Documenting frontend code 
7. Knowledge of Android native and iOS native is a plus
8. Proficient in Linux,  and understanding of Ubuntu OS
9. Knowledge on Firebase or Firestore is a plus

1. Work location: Bengaluru city and Remote
2. Working days - 6 days a week
