We are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Lead to join our Team. As the Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical direction of our mobile app development, focusing on iOS and ReactJS technologies. You will lead a small team of software engineers and work closely with the product and design teams to deliver innovative and high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with a passion for startups, possesses strong leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support throughout the software development lifecycle
• Set clear objectives and performance expectations for the team members, and regularly assess and review their performance
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define the technical roadmap for mobile app development projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, assisting with architectural decisions, code reviews, and problem-solving.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality mobile applications by managing resources, setting realistic project timelines, and resolving any obstacles or bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile app development, iOS, and ReactJS technologies, and identify opportunities to leverage new tools and frameworks.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing, adopting best practices, and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as QA, DevOps, and UX/UI, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of mobile applications.
• Act as a point of contact for technical discussions, representing the team in meetings with stakeholders and upper management.
• Identify and address any technical or performance-related issues, working closely with the team to resolve them and ensure the stability and scalability of the mobile applications.

We at 610 WEB LAB are looking for Flutter Developer who will be running and designing application features across various cross platform devices. We are looking out for someone who has experience using Flutter widgets that can be plugged together, customized and deployed anywhere. Someone who is passionate about code writing, solving technical errors and taking up full accountability of app development.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be building and shipping robust apps to Android/ iOS devices using a single codebase
• You will be writing readable and clear code using Dart that will be extensively documented for future use and upgrades
• You will be sharing feedback and brainstorming ideas with teams to improve the development process.
• Understand basic concepts of design for developing user friendly applications
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies.
• Work experience with Flutter SDK and Dart programming language.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter widgets like Cupertino for iOS and Material Components

For Android:

• Experience working on native mobile development in Android or iOS is preferred
• Hands-on experience in Restful API integration
• Hands-on experience in design pattern like MVP, MVVM, BLoC
• Familiarity with 3rd party libraries and its integration
• Good knowledge of state management like setState, Redux, BLoC/Rx, GetX

• We run functional teams based on the SCRUM methodology and are a fairly Agile environment, with 2 week sprints and teams with a minimum of 2 developers (preferably 3) plus a Platform Owner.
• Sprints cannot be interrupted and work is planned out well in advance to keep stress down to a minimum.

• Line by line code reviews for every pull request on Gitlab maintains code quality and keep everyone in the loop & learning.
• At least 2 people working together on every project (collaborating not pairing)

• Kotlin is strongly preferred
• Experience with clean architecture and MVVM
• Experience with Jetpack Libraries ( Navigation, Paging, Room, Data Binding)
• Experience with Dependency Injections (Dagger2)
• Experience with Rx Java, Rx Android & Co-routines
• Practical understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery

Role & Responsibility:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirement:

• 3-5 year of experience in Android app development
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Should be passionate about the code you write
• Good understanding of Android jetpack libraries and internals
• Good experience on java 
• Knowledge of kotlin is a plus
• Good Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, Dagger, Observables, Livedata, Retrofit, Glide, OkHttp
• Understanding in Unit Testing will be a plus
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
