Job Summary
The Senior Accounts Associate support payables, review district officer vouchers, assist with general ledger and process purchase orders, vendor payments, staff travel, and activity facilitation. Position is responsible for completeness and accuracy of the books of accounts, compilation of reports and ensuring timeliness of all payments and recording of transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
"Administration and Accounts Associates" at site offices will report to the Senior Accounts Associate, and will be responsible for:
- Weekly MIS & burn rates
- Monthly financial reports
- Bank reconciliation in Netsuite ERP
- Bank Payments in Netsuite ERP
- Overall responsibility for books, registers & daily updation
- Daily Book keeping: including project codes and CoA
- Registers for control of inventory/supplies
- Manage Imprest & advances
- Tracking timely settlement of imprests & advances
- Payment of rent and other monthly dues
- Scrutinize travel and project claims
- Documentation assurances for all transactions
- Records management
- Syncronize with YRG ERP
- Coordination with procurement
- Complying with procurement policy
- Overall responsibility for policies
- TDS, GST and other statutory obligations
- Insurance and verification of possession (annual)
Requirements
Skill qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any commerce or business with 3-5 years related experience
- Exposure to non-profit organizations desired
- Strong problem-solving skills and impeccable attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy.
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
- Fluency in regional languages/Hindi will be an advantage
- Good computer skills e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel
