Job Title: Backend Developer - Fintech

Responsibilities:

• Architect and Develop: Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable plans.
• Debug and Resolve: Identify and fix backend issues and bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience for financial applications.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in backend development with a strong skill set in Python and Django.
• API Development: Extensive experience in developing secure and compliant RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework.
• Database Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of MySQL for database design, optimization, and maintenance; experience with MongoDB is a plus.
• DevOps: Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization.
• Cloud Services: Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP) with an emphasis on security and regulatory compliance.
• Software Principles: Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices in the fintech domain.
• Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.

Description:

Looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. primary focus will

be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known

React.js workflows with Redux.

Requirements:

Experience with web technologies (REACT, REDUX, AJAX, SCSS/LESS/CSS,

Hooks,HTML)

Excellent conceptual understanding of DOM, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and cross browser

rendering, behavior and performance. The candidate should have high level knowledge

on user experience, asset loading, browser rendering, responsive design, state

management, JavaScript asynchronous patterns, request handling, partial page updates, and REST APIs

with AJAX

Experience implementing static typing in JavaScript (Babel, Typescript)

Familiar with TDD practices. Comfortable with Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, Webdriver.io,

and other automation frameworks to develop and keep the test suite up to date.

Familiarity with front-end build/publish tools, such as npm. Grunt/Gulp.js, Webpack,

browserify.js

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.

Position Purpose:

The Software Engineer II is responsible for independently developing and assisting in the design of a product that our customers and associates love. As a Software Engineer II, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Software Engineer IIs may be involved in configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

Delivery and Execution - Collaborates and pairs with other product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions; Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met; Works with Product Team to ensure user stories that are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable; Writes custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases; Writes custom code or scripts to do destructive testing to ensure adequate resiliency in production; Program configuration/modification and setup activities on large projects using HD approved methodology; Configures commercial off the shelf solutions to align with evolving business needs Creates meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively
