As our Senior Game Designer you have a talent to create fun, exciting game experiences for our players. You’ll be designing hybridcasual games, managing and overseeing hybridcasual projects and coaching of the design team

What Does The Job Actually Involve?

• Planning, managing and overseeing of hybridcasual game projects
• Motivate, inspire and mentor a small team of designers, encouraging a culture of constant learning
• Support your team members on solving complex design, technical and implementation issues
• Evolving and adapting game designs based on play testing, feedback and live metrics.
• Driving long term player engagement by understanding mobile players needs and motivations.

Your Hard Skills

• Track record of working either on successful hybridcasual games or alternatively has worked on both casual and hypercasual games
• Knowledge of mobile free-to-play game monetisation techniques.
• Ability to work creatively in a demanding team environment.
• Experience managing a team
• Strong creative ideas and imagination, able to entertain players with challenges, humour, surprises and fun.

What you need to have:

 Who are we looking for? 

1. Someone who is annoyed by the build time it takes for an application to build and has actually done something to optimise it 

2. Has good experience in building Android applications 

3. Experience with the flutter ecosystem is a great plus. 

4. Who likes to think in terms of software and data architecture before opening Android studio. 

5. Comfortable with managing development and deployment of applications. 

6. Open and more importantly excited about learning the new technologies. 

Roles and responsibilities 

1. Participate and contribute in design and development of the core components of the Filo service. 

2. Ensure high quality of software development w.r.t to project architecture, code quality, testing and deployment. 

3. Implement testing frameworks and disciplines as part of every feature development. 

4. Own performance of app in production and implement/push for implementation of systems to monitor, debug and fix an issue in production in lowest TATpossible.
 Advocate good engineering has the highest priority with the only exception of value delivered to the end user.

Salary as Per Market Standards

• Manage security tools(Snyk, Fossa, Trivy).
• Manage vulnerability programs. Triage vulnerabilities, assign priorities and owners, follow up on the mitigation 
• Monitor license violations.  
• Perform Security Assessments and Threat Modeling
• Security Incident Response. Be part of a security-on-call team in PagerDuty, act as incident commander, perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Drive security initiatives(Web Application Security, Least-privilege principle, Secrets Management, Key Management, PKI and Certificate Management, Anti-fraud protection).
• Given our fast pace and startup nature, things change over time and your job responsibilities will too.

You'll need:

• Web application security experience.
• Familiarity with a modern SaaS infrastructure and application development.
• Manual and/or automated Penetration Testing (white box, black box & grey box).
• Good understanding of security risk(OWASP Top 10).
• Pen-testing: burp suite/ postman, etc.
• Vulnerability management: Snyk, fossa, NexusIQ, WhiteHat security, aqua security, GitHub security, etc.
• Familiarity with major security protocols.
• Collaboration, transparency, and integrity.
• BS/MS degree; 5+ years of relevant experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience in scripting languages(BASH, Python, JS, etc).
• CEH, CSSLP, GIAC, OSCP, OSCE, or other related industry-recognized certifications.
•  

1. B.E/ B.Tech / MCA in computer science or a related field
2. 6+ Years of Java/J2EE work experience.
3. Minimum 6 months in Team Lead position.

1. Object-Oriented design, patterns, algorithms, data structures
2. Well knowledge about Spring Hibernate framework.
3. Exposure to React JS / Angular JS.

1. Experience with SQL/No-SQL database technologies – MySQL, Mongo dB, Cassandra, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.
2. Good working experience in OpenStack/AWS & cloud application development and deployment
3. Experience in Web services (REST or SOAP)

1. End to end web development experience is highly preferred
2. Good understanding of unit testing methodologies.
3. Good analytical and communication skills
