We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and analysis. This role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The specific responsibilities and required experience will vary depending on the level (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior, or Lead).   

Responsibilities (Adjust based on the level):

• Test Planning and Execution:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Utilize test management tools to organize and track testing activities.
• For Senior/Lead roles: Design test strategies, and provide mentorship to junior testers.
• Defect Management:
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Verify defect fixes and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Requirements Analysis:
• Review and analyze software requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
• Provide feedback on requirements and design documents.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.   
• Communicate testing progress and results effectively.
• For Senior/Lead roles: Lead meetings, and communicate with upper management.
• Automation (For Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead):
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).
• Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Perform performance and load testing using appropriate tools

• Travel agency accounting, GST, TDS, balance sheet, billing, etc.
• Perform service provider reconciliation.
• Maintain the general ledger.
• Debtors & Creditors management.
• Preparation of various types of MIS reports
• Perform bank transfers like RTGS, NEFT, and outward remittances.
• Ensure Vendor and credit card reconciliation for all Ledger Accounts
• Helping the senior officer and CA at the time of audit.
• Manage all accounting transactions like invoicing, expense reporting, and payroll.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Daily fund planning to ensure payments are made to suppliers as per turn-around time.
• Preparation of Overall Creditors & Debtors Ageing Report related to Flight, Train, taxi, Metro, and other vendors based on Books.
• Downloading bank statements weekly and performing reconciliation.
• Record banking transactions.
• Work in complete cooperation with the rest of the office team (Sales, Products & Contracting, Operations) and Inter-department communication and coordination with teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.

Role

The role is a unique opportunity to be a part of the core team at KAFQA. The responsibilities of the role are per the below:

• Understand the needs of employees across different segments across their lifecycle (discovery of Kafqa opportunities, application experience, interview experience, decision experience, onboarding, settling down, scaling with the organization, attrition & separation) & design best in class experiences always thinking technology first
• Understand the needs of instructors separately and design best in class experiences for them in partnership with head of departments and other teams.
• Meet compliances mandated by central & state governments.

The role is based in Bangalore, India and reports directly to the Founder, CEO of KAFQA.

We are seeking extremely smart Android developers who are passionate about pushing mobile technologies to the limits.

• Design and develop products by working closely with business teams.
• Design super intuitive experiences in the next generation of our mobile applications.

• 2+ years’ experience in android software development and delivery.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from a reputed institute(preferably IITs, NITs, or other top engineering institutes).

• All experience should be from good product development or e-commerce background.

• Comfortable with test-driven development in android with UI testing, instrumented unit testing and unit testing using junits, mockito or other tools.
• Willingness to learn and write simple backend REST API’s (preferably in Java, spring boot & hibernate) without having to completely depend on backend engineers for delivery.
• Has worked in a fast-paced agile organization building stateless and re-entrant/resumable android applications.
