Executive Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SONiC Forwarding Developer with 10+ years of software engineering expertise in low-level systems programming and networking data plane architectures.

In this role, you will design, develop, and benchmark high-performance forwarding software on the Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC) operating system. You will collaborate with ASIC hardware vendors and cross-functional teams to engineer line-rate L2/L3 forwarding, ACL, and QoS mechanisms for large-scale data center networks.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance network forwarding software using C and C++, with Python and Go tooling.
• Work with switching silicon/ASIC vendors to implement, validate, and tune hardware-specific forwarding features through SAI.
• Design, implement, and debug forwarding pipelines including ACL, QoS, queue scheduling, and traffic shaping.
• Develop L2/L3 packet switching and routing solutions, including firewall integrations, L2VPN and L3VPN.
• Work with data center networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and VXLAN.
• Profile and optimize software performance, memory utilization, cache locality, and latency.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, and network operations teams for testing, debugging, and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

 - Develop and customize OpenWrt build systems for operator-specific router distributions

 - Build high-performance network stacks and middleware for Wi-Fi 6/7 & 5G-FWA routers

 - Implement TR-181/USP/TR-369 device management standards for global operators

 - Design scalable, modular embedded Linux systems for complex CPE environments

 - Debug and resolve critical issues: kernel panics, memory leaks, race conditions

 - Collaborate with hardware and product teams to deliver carrier-grade solutions

Must-Have Skills:

 - OpenWrt Proficiency: Customizing build systems, package configurations, feeds

 - Programming: Advanced C/C++ for resource-efficient, high-performance networking

 - Network Stack & Protocols:

   - IPv4/IPv6: Dual-stack, DHCPv4/v6, SLAAC, Prefix Delegation, MAP-T/E, DS-Lite

   - L2/L3: Linux Bridge, VLAN 802.1Q/QinQ, SoC hardware offloading

   - Routing: Multi-WAN, Failover, Policy-Based Routing, IGMP/MLD Snooping/Proxy

 - Device Management: TR-181/TR-098 data models, USP/TR-369 experience

 - Debugging: GDB, Valgrind, JTAG, Wireshark, Tcpdump

 - System Design: Defining software interfaces & integrating cross-platform middleware

Preferred Qualifications:

 - Hands-on with Airoha SDKs & MediaTek WiFi drivers

 - Familiarity with RDK-B, prplOS, prplLCM

 - QoS/QoE: Traffic Shaping - tc, HTB, FQ_CoDEL, DPI, traffic classification for Gaming/VoIP

 - Security: Firewall4/Nftables, Iptables, VPN - WireGuard, IPsec, hardware crypto-acceleration

We are actively looking for experienced C++ Developers with strong hands-on experience in 4G/5G Core Network development, particularly Control Plane and Network Programming.

• Understanding of N1, N2, N3, N4, N6, S1-MME, S1-U, S5/S8 interfaces

• Good understanding of 4G/5G Core Control Plane procedures and call flows

• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, UDP, Routing, ARP, VLAN, Subnets, L2/L3

• Hands-on Linux development using GCC, GDB, Make and debugging tools

• Experience in low-level debugging, packet flows and performance optimization

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Develop software modules for 4G/5G Core Network systems

• Implement and optimize Control Plane protocol logic

• Work on end-to-end Control Plane call flows

• Debug low-level issues in Control Plane packet flows and system behaviour

• Collaborate with QA/DevOps for network component integration

We are looking for an experienced Developer with experience in compiled languages and ready to work in Golang. You will be responsible for the Development of distributed services GUI and terminal application in Golang. Candidates should have strong understanding of Algorithms, Memory Management and Networking

We are hiring high-caliber engineers with 3+ years of experience to build low-latency, high-throughput trading infrastructure in Rust, working directly under senior systems architects. This is a hands-on coding role on performance-critical systems — you will write, test, and ship the core code.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain high-performance backend services in Rust under the guidance of senior engineers
2. Implement components of distributed, fault-tolerant systems handling high transaction volumes
3. Write extensive unit, property-based, and simulation tests for correctness-critical code - Profile and optimize code for latency, throughput, and memory efficiency - Participate in design discussions and rigorous code reviews
4. Debug and resolve issues in Linux-based production environments

Required Qualifications

1. B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science from an IIT or NIT (mandatory) - 3+ years of professional software development experience in Rust, C++, or Java/Go with systems-level work; strong Rust proficiency or demonstrated ability to attain it fast - Understanding of financial markets and trading systems — order books, order types, matching concepts, spot and derivatives (futures/options) basics; hands-on experience with trading, broking, or market data systems is a strong plus - Excellent computer science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, concurrency
2. Solid grasp of multithreading and memory management; exposure to performance profiling and benchmarking
3. Understanding of distributed systems concepts — replication, consistency, message queues (Kafka/NATS or similar)
4. Experience with Linux, Git, and modern development workflows
5. Strong problem-solving ability and hunger to work on hard systems problems

Preferred

1. Competitive programming background (Codeforces/ICPC/CodeChef ratings welcome on the CV)
2. Personal or open-source Rust projects
3. Exposure to low-latency techniques — lock-free structures, zero-allocation design, binary protocols (SBE/Protobuf/FlatBuffers)
4. NISM certifications, trading experience (personal F&O/options trading counts), or coursework in financial engineering
5. Exposure to consensus algorithms (Raft), event sourcing, or deterministic testing

Growth Path

You will be mentored directly by senior systems engineers with deep exchange-infrastructure experience, with a defined progression to senior engineer ownership of subsystems within 18–24 months. This team is being built as a center of excellence in low-latency systems engineering in India.
