Job Description
We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the
interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers
into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities:

Skills And Qualifications:
● 1-3 Years Experienced
● Strong proficiency with JavaScript
● Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc depending on your technology stack)
● Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
● Good understanding of server-side templating languages
● Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
● Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
● Understanding accessibility and security compliance (Depending on the specific project)
● User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
● Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
● Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
● Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
● Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
● Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proven working experience in backend app development and experience with Node JS.
• Build advanced ecommerce backend applications for the multiple client platforms (both React and Android).
• Understanding of design principles and good architecture patterns.
• Proper Data Structures and Algorithm knowledge is a must.
• Graph QL and Apollo Server knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs like the one of Unicommerce.
• Create Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Have a good understanding of CI/CD tools (any).
• Robust knowledge of popular databases like MongoDB, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, Redis etc;
• Knowledge about AWS Services like EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift, S3 is super plus.

Desired Skills and Experience 13+ years of experience in software product development A solid engineer at heart with excellent abstraction, coding and system design skills. Must have the ability to be hands-on and pick up and execute on key projects with a small team. Strong understanding of business fundamentals and the ability to work across stakeholders outside engineering will be required. A proven track record of leading the architecture and delivery in a startup ecosystem within a high growth environment Successfully architected and led technology for consumer facing products in the global market Must have exposure to leading product development end-end ( portfolio to delivery, re-architectures) Strong hands-on technology experience building and running large scale systems Solid experience in large scale Database systems. Experience with NoSQL stores will be a huge plus Strong design/development experience in building massively large scale distributed internet systems and products Excellent Java (or other high level languages) programming skills and expertise in multi-threading and performance oriented programming. Being a polyglot with exposure and hands on work across multiple technology stacks will be highly desired. Excellent computer fundamentals and problem solving skills Excellent data structures & algorithms skills Experience and knowledge of open source software, frameworks and broader cutting edge technologies Must have a degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 3 years’ experience of using .NET framework. • Web development experience in HTML5, ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. • Good experience in MVC/ Web API. • Good experience in SQL server and reporting. • Knowledge in MS SQL, Entity framework, OOPS concept and Web services. • Experience on Angular Framework and solid principals is preferable. • Familiar with version control/ development tools such as GIT, Subversion, Bitbucket, TFS, Hudson, Bamboo or equivalents. • Agile/ Scrum development on complex applications/ products across distributed teams. Use of Jira/ Ace/ Trello (or similar tools) is essential. • Good exposure of client communication (voice & text chat through Skype). • Strong analytical skills.
