Position Overview:

As an Android Developer, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in transforming ideas into functional and user-friendly applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

● Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

● Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

● Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.

● Assist in maintaining code repositories and version control using tools like Git.

● Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and optimal user experience.

Qualifications:

●     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

●     Strong passion for mobile app development and a genuine interest in the Android platform.

●     Solid understanding of Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.

●     Basic knowledge of Android application architecture and components (Activities, Fragments, Services, etc.).

●     Familiarity with development tools and frameworks such as Android Studio and Gradle.

●     Adept problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

●     Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

●     Prior experience with personal or academic Android projects is a plus.

●     Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design patterns is a bonus.

Should have min 2+ years of Hands-on experience in React Native development.

• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML5 and front-end languages.
• Good understanding of Android/ iOS design guidelines, SDK.
• Exposure to building React Native components in native iOS and Android.
• Solve complex technical, scalability or performance challenges.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, Gitlab.

Demand for more intimate online places is higher than ever. Communities are in huge demand! Also, these “Ad-driven” platforms only reward top creators. Most creators are left out - no matter how engaged their audience is. They have to constantly beat algorithms to reach out to their own audience. Over 50 million people around the world consider themselves creators. 97% of them aren’t getting paid. As a result creators are flocking to platforms like Slack, Discord, Whatsapp & Telegram - none of which were built either for community engagement or creator monetisation. Community creators have to go through the pain of managing multiple third party tools to engage and monetise their community. LikeMinds helps creators to convert their audience into a branded private community. They can monetise it by selling digital products like memberships, group chats, events, consultations and courses. As a platform purpose-built for community entrepreneurs, LikeMinds has inbuilt tools for member acquisition, onboarding, retention, moderation, monetisation, and referrals. Our platform enables creators to drive high engagement and belonging via chat rooms, events, polls, member directory, and rewards. These features are in addition to powerful business tools like community website, subscription management, event reminders, analytics dashboard, cohort creation, in-app banners, data export, and much more. Custom integrations are also available for creators with existing assets. In the last few months, we have helped 100+ creators monetise their communities. These include entertainers, fitness & wellness trainers, professional domain experts, language instructors, life coaches, financial experts, micro-entrepreneurship coaches, and exam prep coaches. We are a team of entrepreneurs, techies and community builders with credible backgrounds supported by 2 large VCs. 

Responsibilities: 
• Designing and building Likeminds iOS application.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features and building a high quality application
• Ensuring quality and performance of application to specifications.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
• Fixing application bugs before final release
• Publishing application on App Store
• Maintaining the code and atomization of the application
• Designing and implementing application updates

Skills Required 
• Proven experience as an app developer.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Xcode and Cocoa Touch
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks and strong understand of development lifecycle
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
• Experience with continuous integration

• S/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven working experience in software development
• Working experience in iOS development
• Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store
• A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

We are looking for an Android developer interested in building performant mobile apps on Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building the applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

Requirements

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs Android platform.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with Android platform.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Skills

• Firm grasp of the Kotlin language and its nuances.
• Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming Ability to write well-documented and clean code.
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like Gradle , Android Studio, IntelliJ and Play console. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

Interpersonal Skills

• Self-motivated, team player, action--and-results oriented.
• Well organized, good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines.

          Experience in Kotlin is mandatory .

Your responsibilities include:

• Work on the LOTR (Locus on the road) app which is native app in Android in a small team of 3 engineers
• Apart from the app, there is LOTR SDK also which is in nascent stage. The role would require building up the SDK as well
• Write maintainable code with around 80% unit test coverage. Do PR (pull request) review of fellow engineers on the app
• If you are adventurous - opportunity will be provided to work on the backend API to which the LOTR app/SDK will communicate to. Backend is in all java
• We have some created some cool stuff around selective app upgrade setup. Also, our app development process is under CI/CD so you don’t have to build & release app manually.

Requirements:

• 2 - 6 year experience as Android developer in a product based company
