We’re now looking for a passionate “React Native Developer” who is willing to join us at an early stage and help us build a world-class product. 

Required Skills:

 

• 3+ years of relevant Javascript experience
• 2+ years of experience as a React Native Developer
• Strong JS & React fundamentals
• Write clean and maintainable code that other developers can easily collaborate with
• Take ownership of the building and deliver Android/iOS apps
• Strong sense of responsibility towards improving user experience
• Experience with unit test frameworks is a bonus
• Experience publishing apps to AppStore and Google Play Store.

 

React Native Developer
Responsibilities
Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Transition existing React web apps to React Native.


Skills
Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle Android Studio, IntelliJ
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
Experience with automated testing suites.

What does the core role include?

 

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Designing stateless components in React Native
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Working with the developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
• Working with the developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features

What can fetch you brownie points?

 

• Hands  on experience with React Native is required
• Hands-on experience in React Native APIs, ReactJS, Javascript, ECMAScript (OOJS) and JSX.
• Strong understanding of Java Script ecosystem
• Hands  on experience on Android in creating Hybrid / Native applications
• Demonstrable UI/UX experience on a large-scale app.
• Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual
• Good knowledge of JS frameworks like ReactJS is a plus.

Need an augmented reality app based on both Android and iOS. Would be a basic application in which there will be an option to upload 3D Models and then integrate it with AR Core for android and AR Kit for iOS.

We are looking for someone to own our Android app. This means leading the entire development process so that shopping from local stores through the app is a seamless experience.

Some basic requirements for the role:

● Strong core Java skills.
● You know the Android ecosystem inside and out and follow the latest improvements.
● You care about user experience and sweat all the little details.
● You understand the larger context of running a growing mobile + web service.
● Knowledge of RESTful web services, JSON, Postman.
● You’ve thought about how to bring great performance from an app that needs network access.
● You can point to your involvement in a working app in the Google Play.
● Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
● Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
● A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
● Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
● Familiarity with continuous integration will be a plus.
● Should have published at least one or more original Android apps.

We Would Love If:

● You have worked on a live Android app, through scaling and performance issues.
● Develop and Manage Mobile Application for the Android Platform.
● Should have handled native device features, Map integration, Push Notification, and use of GIT for source code management
● Have excellent problem solving/ Debugging skills and manage technical challenges.
● Should have experience in developing web-services to integrate data from DB servers.
● Experience with JSON, XML, JavaScript, and interfacing applications with backend rest API integration.
● Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, object-oriented programming, MVC programming, and concurrent programming.
● Should be a stickler for a clean and efficient Code.
● Create detailed technical documentation with architecture, UI design flows, and technical specifications.

Responsibility:

• Building user friendly Android and iOS Apps on React Native platform.
• Designing state-less components in React Native. State management with any of Redux, mobX or Flux.

• Together with your colleagues and our clients you will analyse requirements and envision a qualitative solution. You will be responsible for the entire development - from architecture to implementation - and deliver user-friendly, performant and well-tested mobile applications.
• You will be part of our continuous improvement culture, hone your skills and share your experience with your colleagues.

We expect :

• You have at least 3-year experience implementing and deploying React Native apps.
• You developed and published at least one React Native app on Google and Apple Store.
• You are familiar with Google and Apple Store guidelines and compliance.
• You can build pixel-perfect UIs for all mobile platforms.
• You have strong knowledge of Javascript ES6 and higher.
• You know how to make a solid relational data model and have a good knowledge of SQL.
• You have integrated a variety of web API's and understand HTTP.
• You know how to write clean and flexible object-oriented code.
• You have a good understanding of async programming concepts.
• You work daily with tools like Git, NPM and a proper IDE (Webstorm).
• You can deliver POCs, experiments and technology evaluations following design thinking practices.
• You will be contributing towards architecting and building React Native applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product/project infrastructure.
• You write clean code and are a pragmatic programmer.

Extra points :

• You wish Typescript was the default language of the web.
• You stepped outside the Expo world and have experience with native iOS or Android development. You are familiar with XCode and Android studio, and leverage native APIs for deep integration with Android and iOS.
• You have experience with state management libraries like MobX and Redux.
• You write automated tests and perform end-to-end testing with Detox or Appium.
• You are familiar with functional programming concepts and apply it occasionally.
• You worked with other hybrid mobile platforms like Sencha, HTML5, PhoneGap, etc.
• You have experience with Scrum and Lean methodology
