Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in Codemonk’s pre-sales and early solutioning efforts. This role will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Design teams to convert opportunities into well-defined problem statements, requirements, and solution approaches.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with clear growth potential into a BA Lead position as the team and organization scale.

Key Responsibilities

A) Pre-Sales & Requirement Discovery

• Partner with the Sales team on qualified opportunities to:
• Conduct requirement discovery discussions
• Understand client goals, constraints, and success metrics
• Translate loosely defined problems into:
• Business and functional requirements
• Scope boundaries, assumptions, and risks
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to:
• Define solution approaches
• Validate feasibility and complexity
• Support effort estimation and proposal preparation
• Contribute to:
• Client presentations
• Solution decks
• PoCs / demos where required

B) Solution Clarity & Documentation

• Create clear and structured artifacts such as:
• Requirement documents
• User stories / use cases
• High-level solution summaries
• Help prevent scope creep by setting clear expectations early
• Support smooth handover from pre-sales to delivery teams

C) Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Guide and support:
• Business Analysts
• Associate Business Analysts / interns
• Review junior team members’ work and provide feedback
• Gradually take ownership of BA quality across opportunities

D) Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to improving BA processes, templates, and best practices
• Bring a consulting mindset to problem-solving and client interactions
• Grow into greater ownership of the BA function over time

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Solution Consulting, or Pre-Sales
• Experience working in IT services, product engineering, or digital solutions
• Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills
• Good understanding of:
• SDLC / Agile methodologies
• Web, mobile, and cloud-based solutions (conceptual understanding)
• Comfortable interacting with clients, sales teams, and engineers
• Strong communication and problem-structuring skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or enterprise systems
• Prior experience mentoring junior BAs
• Experience supporting RFPs or client pitches.

▪ Building sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive

communication.

▪ Servicing customer in finding the right tenant /house as per the requirement of customer.

▪ Dialing outbound and attending inbound calls from customers and leads.

• Build fluid, scalable, responsive, and consumer-centric web platforms that target users across a wide array of devices
• Collaborate closely with designers & backend developers and contribute to the full product development life-cycle from design and development to roll out
  Take ownership of work and deliver quality results consistently
• Own the delivery of multiple features in a fast-paced work environment
• Build optimized and modular components to provide performance-oriented solutions
• Work in a dynamic and collaborative culture ensuring good teamwork and communication with remote team members when needed

• 4+ Years of experience in frontend web development (1+ in ReactJS)
• Strong past experience of building, scaling and maintaining feature-rich customer-facing single-page applications
• Ability to translate designs into UI elements with accuracy and an eye for fluidity and responsiveness; strong grasp of any of CSS / sass / less
• Proven ability to implement key concepts of state management, security, and caching practices in enterprise-level web applications used at scale
• Proficient understanding of compatibility issues across different browsers and web and mobile devices and available ways to work around them
• Familiarity with the react ecosystem and popular libraries in that ecosystem
• Strong grasp over core web development concepts like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, general Web 2.0 techniques, and working without modern component libraries
• Experience with designing secure web applications with a strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and best practices
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming
• Strong grasp over concepts of performance, optimization, lighthouse, etc
• Strong handle over Git, following best practices to facilitate collaboration

• Hands-on experience with supporting payments and integrating payment gateways
• Experience with progressive web apps, service workers
• Strong grasp over frontend unit and end-to-end testing frameworks

• Own and implement features used by large customers like Truecaller, Mozilla, Zomato, Netflix, etc.
• Performance, Security and Usability goals are in DNA.
• Full ownership and accountability of Microservices which includes day-to-day operations and maintenance.
• Business and technical Metric definitions and reviews.
• Drive CI & CD Evaluate technologies and development stacks for API-based platform which scales to 100,000 transactions per second.
• Perform push-button deployments of any version of the software to any environment on demand.
• Design and build web apps that are scalable and puts user experience front and center.
• Develop modular UI components for company-wide reuse.
• Evolve a common design language for UI across apps.
• Establish and advocate front-end coding guidelines.
• Meld UX and great-looking UI while keeping excellent code quality.
• Own end-to-end life cycle of the product from requirement analysis, design, development, test, release, and maintenance.
• Develop reusable tools/libraries
• Identify opportunities for automation and collaboration points.
• Continuously improve cycle time, throughput, and code quality.
• Continuously improve value-adding-activities/non-value-adding activities ratio.

• 4 - 6 years of experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient in Python/Golang/Java/ http://node.js/">Node.js 
• Understanding of CSS, Advanced Javascript, http://vue.js/">Vue.js, http://react.js/">React.js, and other web technologies.
• Understanding of Rest based API Architecture
• Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.  
• Excellent microservices pattern understanding.  
• Ability to define cross-core contracts and bring them to closure through collaboration.
• Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.  
• Experience working with AWS components [EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, ECS, Lambda].
• Analytical and problem-solving skills  
• Good aptitude in multi-threading and concurrency concepts.  
• Working knowledge of Git and proficiency with at least one build server: Jenkins/Travis/Bamboo.
• Good to have a telecom background
