Responsibilities

• Writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team. Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our client’s business needs

Profile Requirements

* 2 years or more experience as a Python Developer

* Expertise in at least one popular Python framework required Django

* Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)

* Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

* Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python

* Good understanding of the operating system and networking concepts.

* Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

* Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering

* Decent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and management

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Design and develop backend architectures to support robust, scalable, and secure web applications and

systems with a focus on backend development using Django.

● Design, implement and maintain high quality RESTful APIs to support seamless communication between

frontend, backend and other services.

● Design, implement, and maintain database schemas. Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of

data.

● Ensure the scalability and reliability of our backend infrastructure on AWS. Ensure reliable management of

infrastructure on cloud aiming for 0 downtime of systems.

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Develop and maintain documentation for our backend systems, APIs, and data models.

● Conduct high quality code reviews and provide feedback to other team members to ensure best practices

are adhered to.

● Take ownership of the development, testing, and deployment of web applications. Break down high-level

business problems into smaller chunks and build systems.

● Work closely with the frontend development team, product managers, and designers to plan new features

and optimize existing ones.

● Constantly aim to improve performance and optimize systems by identifying bottlenecks and resolving

them for increased efficiency.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies such as LLMs, and implement them as and when required

Skills and Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

● 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a focus on backend development.

● Strong proficiency in Python and Django, including experience with Django Rest Framework.

● Experience working with SQL/PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, querying, and

optimization.

● Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.

● Familiarity of integrations with third party services and open source frameworks

● Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

● Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

● Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as Langchain, OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMa is a plus.

● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

About the role

You'll join our Backend, Data & ML team and support API development, database work, integrations and data tasks under the guidance of senior teammates.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain backend APIs and services.

• Fix bugs, write tests and document your work.

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years of backend experience (internships and strong projects count).
• Working knowledge of Django and SQL.

SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Django Developer with extensive experience in building and scaling financial or payments-based applications. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and testing best practices, along with a strong grasp of the startup environment.

This role requires a balance of hands-on coding, architectural design, and collaboration across teams to deliver robust and scalable financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python (Django framework).
• Architect system components, define database schemas, and optimize backend services for speed and efficiency.
• Lead and implement design patterns and software architecture best practices.
• Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and participation in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams to build seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Drive performance improvements, monitor system health, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Apply domain knowledge in payments and finance, including transaction processing, reconciliation, settlements, wallets, UPI, etc.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of professional backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong background in payments/financial systems or FinTech applications.
• Proven experience in designing software architecture in a microservices or modular monolith environment.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments with agile practices.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
• Solid understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
