Fullstack Developer

What we need 

We are looking for a strong Full Stack Developer to join our team. This person will be involved in active development assignments. You are expected to have between 2 and 6 years of professional experience in any object oriented languages and have executed considerable work in NodeJS along with any of the modern web application building libraries such as Angular, Polymer and/or React along with at least a working knowledge of developing scalable distributed cloud applications on Azure, AWS or on-premises using Kubernetes or Apache Mesos. 

Responsibilities 

- Design RESTful APIs

- Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members

- Experience with cloud services (ideally AWS). You know the “gotchas,” potential problems, and how to setup a geographically redundant service in the cloud

- Experience with different databases, including strong working knowledge of MySQL and relational databases

- This person will be responsible for working with other team members to develop and test highly scalable web applications and services as part of a suite of products in the Data governance domain working with petabyte scale data

- Prototype and develop new ideas and participate in all parts of the lifecycle from research to release

- Be comfortable working within a small team owning deliverables for our web APIs and front end.

- Comfortable with current development tools such as Jenkins, Git, bower, npm etc.

- Design and develop dockerized applications which will be deployed flexibly either on the cloud or on-premises depending on business requirements

- 2+ years of professional development experience using any object oriented language

- Have developed and delivered at least one application using nodeJs

- Experience with modern web application building libraries such as Angular, Polymer, React etc - You find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve head-scratching challenges

- Solid OOP and software design knowledge – you should know how to create software that’s extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives

- Excellent understanding of HTTP and REST standards

- Experience with relational as well as MySQL databases

- Good experience writing unit and acceptance tests

- Proven experience in developing highly scalable distributed cloud applications on a cloud system, preferably AWS

- You’re a great communicator and are capable of not just doing the work, but teaching others and explaining the “why” behind complicated technical decisions.

- You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves: This role will evolve over time, and we’ll want you to evolve with it!

Required Skills 

1) Good experience in AngularJs or Angular 9+ Version 

2) Hand on Node.JS./Express JS 

3) Database : MYSQL/MongoDB 

4) Experience in Java Script, Typescript. 

5)Good experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery 

6) Experience working in an Agile environment. 

7) Good communication skills.

Requirement:

- Must have 5+ years Drupal programming experience.
- Good experience in Drupal 7 and 8 implementations.
- Good understanding of MY SQL and relational databases.
- Should have a good understanding of OOPs concept and latest features.
- Should have an understanding of Design Patterns like Singleton, factory, etc.
- Should have at least worked on MVC frameworks like CodeIgniter,CakePHP, Laravel.
- Good understanding of web technologies
- Good understanding of front-end development HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery skills.
- Good Git version control knowledge.
- Contribution to open source community.
- Experience in Drupal 7 of 5+ years.
- Good with RDBMS & writing custom SQL
- Drupal API experience
- Must have PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS experience
- Should be able to code as per Drupal standard coding
- Should be well versed with implementation and configuration of most commonly used modules
- Experience with CSS Frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap. Communication Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations.
- Strong command of English language (both verbal and written).
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

• 5-7 years of web application and web site development with Drupal (corporate web sites, ecommerce sites, portals, mobile sites).
• 4+ years managing web application projects.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
• Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) React preferred
• Experience writing semantic, responsive HTML.
• Experience writing object-oriented PHP.
• Experience implementing web solutions in Drupal and PHP.
• Experience with Drupal’s theme layer.
• Experience with Drupal’s module system and experience writing or extending modules.
• Experience with Drupal’s Migrate framework.
• Experience with Drupal JavaScript behaviors.
• Experience with Acquia provided tooling and development workflows for Drupal 8/9 preferred.
• Experience implementing, accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
• Experience with version control tools (Git).

Ideal skills:

1) 2-5 years of professional JavaScript development experience

2) Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

3) Comfortable working through the entire stack from the user interface through systems levels

4) Understanding accessibility and security compliance

5) Strong Logical and Analytical Skills

6) Experience in consuming web services (REST) and processing data (JSON)

7) Experience with SQLite, NoSQL, Redis or other databases

8) Proven experience in building API services using NodeJS Express and related frameworks

9) Good understanding of NodeJS asynchronous runtime

10) Good understanding of JS concepts on callbacks and closures

11) Experience in debugging issues related to memory leaks

12) Experience in building highly scalable and high throughput services with sub-second response times

13) Experience with ElasticSearch/Solr

14) Experience working in a collaborative team environment

15) Ability to understand and analyse issues across multiple vendors and interfaces

16) Experience with NoSQL queries

19) Experience in managing/mentoring small teams

In depth knowledge of all of the above is not mandatory but the nature of the work will involve learning and getting involved with all of the above. You would be working directly with key members of the management team to define and drive technical strategy.
