Job Description
- Must have worked on Spring, Spring boot framework
- Strong Java developer skills
- Should have strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms

- Prior experience in handling backend
- Should have strong debugging and communication skill
- Microservices experience would be a plus
- Built backend for Android, iOS applications in past
- Well versed with AWS deployments

- Perform UI tests to optimize performance

Essential Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Electronics or equivalent.
• Graduated in 2020/21 having 1-2 years of industrial experience

The company is a US based startup founded in 2018 to build an edge data platform for the
autonomous world.Rich data in large volumes is getting collected at the edge (outside a datacenter) in use cases like autonomous vehicles, smart manufacturing, satellite imagery, smart retail, smart agriculture etc.These datasets are characterized by being unstructured
(images/videos), large size (Petabytes per month), distributed (across edge, on-prem and
cloud) and form the input for training AI models to get to higher degrees of automation.

Role:

This role is an individual contributor role with key responsibilities in developing web server
backends for Akridata management plane software that provides a ‘single pane of glass’ for users to manage assets, specify and monitor large volume data pipelines at scale involving 10s of petabytes of data.

This role involves:

1. Working with tech leads and the rest of the team on the feature design activities and
picking appropriate tools and techniques for implementation.
2. Be a hands-on developer able to independently make correct implement choices, follow
sound development practices to ensure an enterprise grade application.
3. Guide and mentor junior team members.

What we are looking for:

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science with strong CS fundamentals and
problem solving.
2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with software development with 3+ years on web
backend development.
3. A good understanding of backend application interactions with relational databases like
MySQL, Postgres etc
4. Knowledge of web server development frameworks preferably on Python.
5. Enthusiastic to work in a dynamic, fast paced startup environment.

Good to have:

1. Hands-on experience with designing database schema and implementing and debugging SQL queries for optimal performance for large datasets
2. Experience working with applications deployed on Kubernetes clusters.
3. Experience with working on a product from early stages of it’s development typically in a
startup environment.

A junior developer at Synapsica will be an active coder and will work in the ME(A/R)N stack. Expected Skillset -Excellent knowledge of and work experience in JavaScript. Hands-on with ES6 will be preferable.Experience with Node.js is required and Express.js or equivalent is preferable.Knowledge of MongoDB is a plus.Familiarity with testing library like Mochajs or similar is preferable for TDD.Good communication skills is required.

Background
Back-end engineers will build the core of inai’s platform which comprises of 3
broad teams:
• Front-end: handle the checkout experience for our merchants and the
dashboard their product teams would be using daily
• Integrations: that handle our integrations with various payment processors,
wallets, BNPLs, analytics providers, fraud and risk providers and accounting
software.
• Platform: The glue that holds it all together. APIs will be the norm, databases
your core, scalability, reliability, and system design your everyday concern.
You will
• Develop APIs to integrate with 3rd party systems — primarily in the payments
domain
• Work closely with our front end and integrations engineering teams and also
with our colleagues across the globe.
• Take ownership for the modules you develop and key technology decisions,
and customer issues.
• Contribute towards documentation (internal and customer-facing), code
reviews, tooling, and processes.
You will have
• 2 to 8 years experience as a full stack engineer. Atleast 1+ years in handling
payments recently.
• Experience in working with 3rd party APIs. You should be able to peruse 3rd
party API documentation and retro-fit the APIs with the platform team.
• Experience writing APIs in Python, relational databases
• Can communicate and interact with a larger team
• Experience in working with multiple payment gateways or integrating them

• Experience with handling payment tokens.
