• Work with Kafka, Docker, and serverless frameworks (SST) for efficient deployments.

• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to deployment.

Technical Requirements :

• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong experience with NestJS framework.
• Solid experience with MongoDB and database design.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, and serverless architecture.
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

Good to Have (Bonus Skills) :

• Experience with Python or other backend languages.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Java Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-based deployment using AWS or DevOps tools. This is a hybrid role based out of our Whitefield, Bangalore location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in agile development processes and scrum ceremonies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Design and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Ensure robust and reliable code through full-scale unit testing and TDD/BDD practices.

Toyota Connected is looking for a Backend Developer who will architect, design, develop and participate in testing and documentation of large-scale, distributed software applications, systems and services. The Labs team is focused on creating products and services for next generation Connected vehicle systems and the team members are required to be creative in solving problems, excited to work in new technology areas and be ready to wear multiple hats to get things done.
