Job Title: Django Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Django developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal

candidate will have hands-on experience with the Django framework, proficiency in

Python, and a strong understanding of web development best practices. The Django

developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining

web applications that meet our clients; needs.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using the

Django framework.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new

features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Integrate user-facing elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement

and maintain RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with

server-side logic.

Work with databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and

optimising performance.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in the development and production

environments.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best

practices.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Django developer or similar role.

Strong understanding of Python and the Django web framework.

Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Knowledge of relational databases, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and

database design.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Understanding of web security best practices.

As a PHP Laravel Backend Developer at Chhayakart, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our web applications. Your expertise in backend development and API development & integration will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our product

Qualification :

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience :

  Minimum 1 year experience in PHP, Laravel Also API Integration profile.

Technical Skills Required:

 Laravel , PHP (oops Concept Also), JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the frontend development team to understand the requirements and design APIs that align with the frontend components developed in React.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on PHP Laravel development.
• Strong understanding of database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.

Job Description:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.

• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Codeignitor, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance (Depending on the specific project)
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.

About the Backend Developer

We are looking at a diligent, driven, passionate person for our efforts on engagement and retention of our customers (schools) in a high growth environment. Backend Developer will be the face of the organisation for the schools that are using the platform on a day to day basis. The Developer will interact with the schools via the chat support and email requests and resolve any issues that the schools might be facing in using the platform or extend any support they might be needing to use the platform to its fullest.

• As a Backend Developer, you will play a major role in, developing and deploying high-quality web platforms. In this multifaceted role, you will get the opportunity to work along curriculum experts, teachers, and students, and user-test the product in real school settings.
