Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3 years of experience to join our

team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python,

Django, and PostgreSQL, along with a good understanding of backend development.

Knowledge of Java will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and

Django

 Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL

 Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new

features

 Debug and resolve technical issues and optimize application performance

 Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices

 Required Skills

 Strong experience in Python

 Hands-on experience with Django framework

 Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database

 Understanding of REST APIs and web services

 Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

 Good to Have

 Basic knowledge of Java

 Experience with cloud platforms or deployment processes

 Understanding of front-end technologies is a plus

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js & Express
• Manage deployments via GitHub Actions and CodeDeploy; work with Docker & AWS
• Optimize MongoDB queries and use Redis caching for high-concurrency traffic
• Bridge Figma designs to backend logic using Next.js and Tailwind CSS
• Maintain monitoring with Nginx & PM2 to ensure 99.9% uptime

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of professional experience building and maintaining production applications
• Deep Node.js knowledge: async programming, RESTful API architecture
• MongoDB mastery: schema design, indexing strategies, complex aggregation pipelines
• Hands-on AWS (EC2/S3 minimum) and practical CI/CD pipeline experience
• Proven ability to take a feature from PRD / Figma to stable production deployment

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

• Experience maintaining apps with high concurrent user counts

  Testing

  • Must have strong advanced Unit testing experience and Agile experience

  • Must have participated in SCRUM and must be well aware of the scrum ceremonies
  • Must be able to self-manage the pipeline and should be well prepared to meet challenging timelines

  MySQL competency

  • Must be able to write complex queries
  • Understanding and implementation level knowledge of key joins, constraints, and triggers
  • Able to analyze the query and perform query optimization
  • Independently handle the Table DDL and DML statements as part of the development
  • Ability to create ER diagrams and data mapping diagrams and document data entity chang

Good to have would be AWS Architect Certification.

• You have the prior experience in modernising legacy applications.
• You are a passionate hands-on developer with deep experience in building enterprise grade software in Microsoft ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SOA, Micro-Services and RESTful Services with knowledge of SQL Server database.
