We are hiring a skilled Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress and Shopify. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining high-quality websites and e-commerce platforms.

Key Skills Required:

• Advanced experience with WordPress, Woo Commerce, and Shopify
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, custom themes & plugins

• Build and manage websites on WordPress and Shopify
• Customize themes, plugins, and integrations

💥 What will you do?

As a Backend Engineer, you will

• Create and maintain server-side code
• Designing database schemas to support business requirements
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Write unit tests
• Stay up to date with current best practices
• Collaborate with front end engineers
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with web-application-related technical issues and support their requirements.

While we do not have a strict list of requirements for candidates interested in this role, some indicators that you would fit this role and our engineering culture are 

• 2+ years of relevant work experience as a Backend engineer using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, etc
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of OOP concepts
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience writing unit tests for the application is a plus
• Experience with building REST APIs
• Superior analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of CORE PHP & web framework including Laravel.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Experience with API integration.
• Previous experience creating scalable applications.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.

-Previous experience working as a Shopify developer.

-Strong knowledge of liquid programming language
-Generate custom – tailored Shopify theme and altering pre – existing template.
-Act as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the ecommerce platform.
-Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme.
-Clear concept of HTML5, CSS3, javascript/Jquery.
-Knowledge in other ecommerce platforms like Magento, woocommerce, BigCommerce will be preferred.
-Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme.
-A proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc.
-Excellent troubleshooting skills.
-Good project management skills

Skills: 

Strong knowledge of MYSQL/PostGreSQL; Knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, Couch DB is preferred. 

Expertise in application development, databases, version control, and deployment. Skill - Node.js, 

Experience of AWS or GCP - especially services such as Lambda or google app engine 

Solid grasp of Service-oriented architecture. Web Services implementation on a medium to large scale 

Solid understanding of scaling mobile app services. Having worked the backend of an Android app is preferred

Role: 

As a Software Developer who would work independently, the candidate is expected actively acquire problems and deliver solutions as well as guide the team technically. Such a problem solver would obviously be a self starter with a high level of curiosity rather than a programming language specialist. 

He/she would be required to produce software of the highest quality through self-discipline, clear and engaged communication, and attention to detail. The role would include custom web application development on (most typically on Node.js and PHP/Python), databases (most typically MySql and MongoDb), version control (github), testing (necessarily through test scripts written before code is written), daily builds and eventual deployment onto AWS or GCP.

The Language Engineering team works on the source code analyzers, including both programming languages and configuration-as-code systems. As a member of the Language Engineering team, you will work on building the best, most comprehensive, PHP analyzer in the world. You will add new rules and Autofixes for finding more issues with code and automatically fixing them. You will be involved with the community to understand the problems with static analysis tools in the PHP ecosystem.

• Identify bad code practices in PHP and write new rules to detect them.

• Improve the coverage of automatically fixable issues.

• Ensure fewer false positives are reported by the analyzer.

• Work on the internal tools that support analysis runtimes.

• Contribute to open-source static analysis tools.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science.

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience in PHP.

• Understanding of the nuances of execution of the source code (AST, data flow graphs, etc).

• Familiarity with PHP best practices followed in the industry.

• Native experience with Linux/Unix environment.
